Is that because of his performances, or is the manager poo or does the system Lazio play not suit the way he plays. Im just trying to get a feel on whether his a good signing or not.

His the right age for our squad lately West Ham have tended to buy either kids under 23 or grandpas over 30 nothing much in between.

He couldnt brake into the team, when he did play he didnt look like much. In saying that he didnt seem to like his time in Italy after a month he was wanting to leave, he was playing fine for stugartt before he came to Lazio so maybe the change might do him some good, personal I think he will be just a run of the mill type player.

now I have said that watch him kick ass.....
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Maybe he wasn't suited to the gamestyle the coach played.

He will be one of West Ham's best players next season.

Petrov's worth a punt IMO.
Given he's on a free, I'd be offering a pay as you play contract with his injury concerns.

But he's proven in the prem to be a quality left sided player. For a club between 12-20, he's be a great addition to the squad IMO.

Interesting that not one other news agency, Arsenil or the EPL have reported this transfer.

Belletti is better value becuase he'll play more games and will cost less than half Joe Cole's wages. He can play Right Full back, Centre Mid, Defensive Mid or Right Wing. Better player, no, better value, yes.

I love a punt too.
I'm happy to go on appearances. Although, we could throw in goals scored too. Or a combination - 2 pts for a game played, 5 pts for a goal.

Loser has to change their avatar to the logo of their feircest rival and their signature to "I love [insert veircest rival here] fc and always have"

LOL

there is written evidence of an offer here Mighty Hounds, before the bet is accepted we should make sure Cole and Belletti actually sign for PL clubs, or does it not matter who they play for?

I think Belletti will probably sign for a Brazillian club, but I'm still happy for the bet to stand if he does.

The Brazillian League is still a very strong league.

Do you guys wanna take this discussion elsewhere, you are just clogging up the thread.

Lets keep this thread for confirmed transfers eh, and not rumours. I've deleted the posts about Cole being an Arsenal player.

Manchester City agree deal for David Silva

Manchester City are set to sign Spanish international winger David Silva from Valencia for an undisclosed fee.

City have agreed a five-year deal with the 24-year-old, who will complete a medical and sign for the club once his involvement in the World Cup is over.

He said: "The Premier League is one of the best competitions in the world and I want to bring success to City.

"They are a club with a great future with fantastic players. I want to be an important player in City's history."

Silva is City's second major signing of the summer, following the capture of Hamburg's German international defender Jerome Boateng.
