Just got the chance to listen to the 5RPH broadcast from Friday, I must say that I'm most impressed with the attention div. 5 has been getting, I wish I could listen to it live. No worries Mick about the reserves point you made, you can't deny facts and it was always going to be a concern travelling to Plympton.
For the remainder of the season we only travel to Brahma Lodge, Elizabeth, St. Doms and the North Haven in round 18, hopefully we can fill our reserves for all of these games.
The interview with Joss was well conducted, the trains and traffic in the background caught him out a bit though and he lost his way a bit LOL.
Come and say G'day on Saturday Mick.

On that same show LM we were the only side with the wobbles after losing a game by 6 points. I know it has nothing to do with div 5 ..just a comment.. ha ha

Probably from you crying wolf on here LOL, they obviously have a look on here and try to extract the poo from the truth and come up with some substance behind their statements. Short of ringing every club for some feedback is probably all they can do, I bagged them a bit on one of the other threads a few weeks back about one of their statements to which they addressed more recently, I'm now trying to find a way that I can listen to the whole show live each Friday.

B Grade Premiership Table
Plympton..........18 72.8
Adel Lutheran.....18 67.6
Brahma Lodge.....18 63.5
Elizabeth............16 70.7
Nth Haven...........12 50.5
Blackfriars...........10 48.3
Hope Valley..........8 50.2
Hectorville............8 44.7
Rosewater............2 18.2
Smithfield.............0 21.5

Round 12
Smithfield vs Adelaide Lutheran @ Smithfield Oval
North Haven vs Plympton @ Largs North Reserve
Blackfriars vs Hectorville @ St. Dominics Oval
Rosewater vs Hope Valley @ Eric Sutton Reserve
Elizabeth vs Brahma Lodge @ Argana Park

Thought we could get a bit of talk going about the B grade.

Top 4 looks pretty set to me but could finish in any order. Brahma V Elizabeth this week should be a cracking match and one Elizabeth will desperately want to win to get the second chance.
5th spot could be filled by either Nth Haven, Blackfriars, Hope valley or Hectorville. Is there a chance that Blackfriars or Nth Haven will look at getting some B grade success when relegation is a certainty (Not saying it is yet). Div 5 & 5R should both have an exciting finish to them.

Any comments on how Rosewater have gone besides what the ladder is saying? I only ask as a relie plays there and we dont speak that often. They were going pretty well last year and what the difference this year has been. Some very good players in the side just unusual they would be so low on form. How has Anderson been going?

They are still consistently inconsistent, they can match it with the better sides but still let themselves down from time to time. They have been bolstered by a couple of ex-Seaton players in recent weeks, they will either make the finals or cause some upsets that will shape the finals, a big game for them this week at Eric Sutton Reserve, a must win for both teams though.

For those interested, I have written a story about Elizabeth Football Club stalwart Graham Watson, who recently passed away.

Definitely just making up the numbers. I think you will find his close relationship with the coaching staff got him a gig in the one's. Absolute hack and would be surprised if he got near the ball let alone got a touch.

He went ok I thought from limited opportunities. Kicked 2 goals and gave us a target- I'm actually quite surprised Saturday was his first A grade game for the year, I thought he would of been picked in the A's earlier this year.

Also what was the story with the results in Sundays paper? Does anyone know if it was I Score or the Sunday Mail screwing up this time, it seems that none of the other sports in the paper have these issues

Ah yes Boosh, he doesn't like us very much at all, but he did control his urge to give free kicks against us well I thought, probably because Heccies were controlling the game for most of day. There were a few howlers he gave away though, but it happens. Anyway, he's not going to give you a free kick when you complain about someone holding onto your jumper, unless he sees it.

And you only want to know the I-score results so badly to check the best players. ;)

So who wrote the Brahma v Eliz preview??
They sure do love using commas.

"Captain Ryan McKee dominates, running towards goal and taking his team
with him. If conditions are dry, then the all round package, that the ‘Tigers’ are,
will see their fleet of foot men, come into play."

What does that first sentence even mean????

It doesn't make sense- Dominates (comma) running towards goal (and) taking his team with him????

I think they have tried to write something way beyond their ability and it didn't come out like they wanted it to.

Elizabeth v Brahma Lodge should and will be an absolute cracker. The Lodge beat us convincingly first time around however our team was heavily depleted. I and the rest of the boys will be sorely dissapointed should the game go in a similar fashion, not to mention the coaching staff.

Lodge are a good side but I just think if we are to have a real crack this year it is an absolute must win for us and we will get the job done. Sides have gone very defensive against us recently and I'd be surprised if B Lodge followed that trend without backing themselves in so it should be a free, highscoring game.

Hopefully coombs gets up and plays for the lodge, would love to play in the same game as the bloke after he spat on me as I walked off the ground at half time of the Gepps v Salisbury North GF.......Ive been likened to an elephant (as far as being fat anyway) and we have Looooooonnnnngggg memories. ;)
Harsh but fair.....
