Yeah, he's there each week. Always says g'day and tells me why we're (usually) losing 8). Doesn't mind giving the umps a fair spray either...

Seen him at a few gigs too.
SAFC- 60 years...

I know Barto is in WA which could be one explanation for the "channelling", but why the "would have been"? It sort of gives the impression that either he doesn't go to games anymore, sits in different area to you these days, or is no longer with us (especially if he is "channelling").
Has anyone seen Enzo in recent days? I don't like this thinking that he has moved onto the great Unley Oval in the sky.

My favourite Col moment was a few years back when South were in fine fettle at The Parade and were on a goal kicking spree. There was some yelling near me and I turned to find Col kicking several shades of sh*t out of the metal barriers on the outer side whilst screaming 'that's premiership football South'.

And that was when he was happy. :D

That is an interesting choice of words. I'd have thought I'd be kept in the loop if something like that happened.

I'm not sure, but surely the side that South fielded on Saturday v Sturt would have to be one of the youngest sides in sanfl history. :?
The oldest and most experienced player was Adam Cockshell, 23 yo, 70 games experience.

cue spelly.

Hopefully South can hold onto all these young fellas and build a team that will return to finals in the next couple of years.
