Funny, I heard the same rumour but about a different player.

The other unusual thing centrals did at half time was come out on the ground so early. The siren had blown and before the goals for the mini league were packed up the dogs were all out on the ground.

probably worthy of a seperate topic but what do Dogs fans think of their President imploring his members to attend AAMI stadium whenever they can for an AFL game?

IMO, a fair question with an equally fair - and pertinent - response.

The context would be interesting. For example if he said,Port have just received $4mill from the SANFL, we need them to be successful to receive current club dividends at current levels.

The more we support the AFL sides the more money generated by the SANFL. Can only help out all footy in SA. I'd personally like to see a lot more cooperation between the SANFL clubs and the AFL clubs.

Like AFl clubs not pulling out* players the day before a game to keep them fresh for next week?? Probably made Centrals stronger though....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Wonder if he will be so gracious when Port start their pokie parlour across the road from Grand Central...

Are you able to elaborate on the context in which the comment (Kris Grants') was made, Dutchy?

What a disappointing crowd especially as it was first against second, and also from the bay supporters anybody's game a three qtr time a good contest for threee qtrs.

2600 ish is a very disappointing crowd for first vs second.

Is the perception from outside the club that supporters at Centrals are tolerated rather than welcomed correct? I only ask as their financial base allows them not to rely on members so I wonder if they're not active enough in promoting the football games to potential attendees.

(and for all you uppity CDFC fans out there it's a question I've asked of my own club four thousand times in the last decade.)
