Father and Son(s) in SANFL Football

Postby spell_check » Thu Dec 28, 2006 11:02 pm

How many have there been over the years? (A good brainstorming exercise, I might add)

Henry and Brad Dabrowski
Aldo and Jon Floreani
Ian and David Westbrook (I think)
David and Sam Fairclough

They are the current Eagles players with fathers who have played SANFL also.

Then of course there is Steve and Matthew Pavlich.

North (unless noted)

Owen and Maurice Martin
Henry and Kym Lehmann
Kym and Troy Lehmann
(I think the above are the only grandfather/son/grandson to have played for North)
Barry and Scott Bamford
John Robinson and Ben Hart
Ray and Simon Trenorden
Michael and Scott(Nd)Burns
Barrie and Matthew (Nd) and Jonathan (Nd) Robran
Maurie and Josh Francou
Rick and Shane Schubert
Barry (Wd) and Luke Tyrell
Greg (CD) and Shane Edwards
Robert and Bronte Mumford
Garry and Trent Sporn

That's all that comes to mind off the top of my head. I'll look into more later.

Did Peter Burgoyne Snr play any SANFL footy? I know he was a champion in the Port Lincoln league but never heard whether or not he played in Adelaide.

Other ones i can think of:

Ron and Tom Hateley
Denis and Michael Errey
Warhurst Snr & Jnr
