important to note:
henley kicked straight because their style of play allowed them to take marks 20m out from goal straight in front.
CLG were trying to snap for goal from within packs and kick goals from the boundary, hence their goals to points ratio suffered.

game should have been over at 1/4 time when it was 3.9 to 1.1 with henley going into their 50 about 4 times only but clg kicking 8 points straight before goaling.. clg missed plenty of setshots as well ..henley had no style of play in the first quarter whatsoever but when the foot was on the throat the lions let them go and left the door open..when henley got going it was long and direct with marks 20m out as you say..they played really well and over ran the lions..but they should have been put to bed already..imo..
congrats DD on the top win..big night at rutland im sure
