Interesting game between GG and Fitzroy in the C's last week so I was led to believe.... 11 send offs and a fight that started with some massive haymakers being thrown from one guy and resulted in the Fitzroy bench running onto the oval to join in...

i think i had half a chub when i saw him at training....

my knee is ready n raring to go to play tomorrow...

only problem is i think ive torn a muscle or something in my arm doin weights... so i still might pull out tomorrow morning depends how i feel when i wake up.

Does anyone know what the format will be for the finals in C4, i was told last night that there still looking at a final 5, seems stupid considering there is only 8 sides in the comp. We could possibly have 4 games now then have one off, play 2 then have two off (providing we finish top) play one (providing we win and go straight into GF) have one off, then play a GF. only playing 2 games in 6 weeks leading up to a GF, not ideal i would have thought.

I cant work out why they would have a top 5, it is good for that 5th side but it just seems dumb!

C4 would have to be the worst C grade comp in the SAAFL, not only do we only have 8 sides and have to have 4 byes throughout the year, now WOS forfeit this weeks game also! it is terrible out of an 18 round season we will play a maximum of 13 games! now leading into finals we miss this week, have a game next week, miss one more week, have hopefully 2 more games (if unley and WS have sides) and then miss another game! thats 3 games in 6 weeks before finals. Then our D grade plays in a comp where there are 10 teams! in C6 and they have no byes or forfeits what so ever.

I am not having a crack at WOS, i am annoyed at the set up of the div in general, it is ridiculous that ther are two sides with byes each week. they should have just played them against each other. who really cares if some sides play each other more? I appreciate that it may be tough to get the players on the park however it is frustrating that at this time of year for two years running in C4 the sides floating around the bottom have forfeited games. Again this is no crack at WOS, i am actually surprised to be honest because for a side that hasnt had the wins you pushed us and spoke with a guy from Uni and he said the same.

Well actually you wouldn't. We gave up our home game early in the year to get a triple header and you guys wouldn't entertain returning the favour.
Regardless, we had 10 willing and able players to choose from so it was never going to happen either way.
If you C grade blokes make your way down to Glandore then I will gladly shout you a beer to make up for it!
