If there was only one SANFL team that couldn't give us rubbish about our White guernsey i would say it would have to be Norwood.

Would be nice if they could arrange to have their numbers printed on their jumpers instead of sewn on

Porplyzia dropped by the crows. Hopefully they release him to play for the bloods but I think he'll be on standby for Vince.

*sigh*, once again the Central idiots have to turn this thread into a slanging match. Norwood and West fans have been able to discuss the match properly, and then right on cue comes the idiots. Seriously dogs fans, what is your damned problem???!!!!

Don't ask them questions, AH, it's an open invitation for them to continue

To the game, it looks like a battle of whether Norwood's defence will be able to handle West's all-out attacking game ;)

Seriously, Norwood will be relying on a quality midield, good small forwards and a fierce attack on the ball. West's attack on the footy will be equally as fierce, which makes for a good game between two top-5 teams. (Haven't been able to say that for a while).

I think the forecast is for a few showers and a top of 15 degrees mate. ;)

If the Porpoise plays, it's hard to know who will match up on him.

Interesting to look back on the last time these two teams met in Rd 4 under lights at Richmond. (The night the scoreboard went AWOL too! ;) ).

The stats are quite incredible - on some lines there are some huge disparities evident -

Kicks - West 172, Nwd 216
Marks - WA 68, Nwd 119
H/B - WA 128, Nwd 117
Frees - WA 14, Nwd 19
Scoring Shots - WA 22 (12.10.82), Nwd 13 (10.3.63)
Hitouts - WA 54, Nwd 37 (West had Lobbe with 28 and Ronaldson with 22; Nwd only had 1 ruckman in Dawe with 16 hitouts from him)
Tackles - WA 35, Nwd 65

Since Rd 4 was played, team changes for the Rd 14 rematch are quite significant -

WA is missing Davies, Fisher, Green, Lobbe, Pettigrew, Piasente and Ronaldson (7 players) and their squad this time names Fielke, Schmidt, Munn, Anderson, Morris, Rowe, Champion and Thompson. (Porplyzia was not named in the squad but has been dropped by the Crows).
Nwd is missing Evans, Lee, McDermid, Roberts and Young (5 players) and their squad names Trotter, Jonas, Georgiou, Clarke, Fuller, Terlich and Nitschke as "ins" from Rd 4.

So both sides have a lot of different personnel in them this time around.

This game is probably more important to Nwd than it is to West. West have a game in hand and play Port and South twice each still before the end of the season. Also, West is one of two teams (South being the other) that Norwood hasn't beaten this year and it would be nice to achieve a result here and not have to face off in Rd 23 not having beaten them if both teams are playing for their lives for a spot in the final 5 at that stage.

Hartlett was named 6th best player vs Nwd in Rd 4 - had 15 kicks, 7 marks, 6 handballs, 2 frees, 3 tackles and kicked 1.1.
