Thats okay if you're not the one entering the data on iScore - its a pain in the arse when you just want to relax and have a beer after the day's game!!

I'm sure each individual coach would ensure he picks the players and they are entered correctly. After all, his reputation would be on the line if it became obvious he was just picking random names for the hell of it.
If done properly, an award like this could potentially overtake the Association Medal as far as the regard it is held in by the players goes, IMO - much like the coaches MVP in the AFL...

The advantage to be gained in such petty games is miniscule as most teams' players are known across the board
I pick my best players based on who has done the job on the day; it quickly becomes apparent if a certain player is being tagged or targetted and changes made accordingly. If the opposition coach wants help in selecting, fine but I don't know if their plan was to break even in a certain position or not, I don't know whether a particular player has played well above their normal standard, and, frankly I don't really care.

As far as knowing who played well for the opposition, you don't have to be Einstein to work it out. Normally you know as a player or coach during the game who's tearing you up for whatever reason.
As a coach I listed the opposition top 5 in order for 'next time' anyway and then as part of my match day prep I used that for matchups, strengths, weaknesses.
