For the second week in a row there will be a good spread of SAFooty members at the Presidents Lunch, looking forward to it.

Just as long as Centurion doesnt win the cakes again :)

Older people always think it was better in the past. And that goes for everything, so when guys like Hank and Cornes say the standard is lower, they were going to say that regardless of what the standard was really like. I've seen some footage of footy in the 70s, and it's pretty scrappy, slow, predictable footy. And the skills aren't as good as people would have you believe either.

Not sure what you're getting at here, maybe I can't read properly though.

Personally I love the SANFL and going to the games.
