Lets get this thread back on track before it's mothballed..... c/mon guys, tidy it up a little....

So.... I read a survey somewhere that asked the following question and come up with these results -

How much cleavage is too much cleavage?

The more the merrier!…..55%

Everything in moderation…..42%

Some things are best left to the imagination…..3%

What do we all think ?? (minus pictures.... I can happily look them up myself ;) )
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

At my mates house, we have "The Rarge."

We have floated an idea for a book to be made, "If These Walls Could Talk." haha our stories are most definately not for this site though! A couple of regular posters on here would agree. :D

Strawb and co - perhaps you need to start up a decoy thread. One which requires full time moderation meaning that the shed slips through the net in blocks of 15 minutes at least.

Reading this I wondered if the "Ask REB" thread had morphed. ;)

So, who's got the biggest drill bit in the shed? For those who don't want to know the results, look away now...... :o
Steve Bradbury and Michael Milton. Aussie Legends.

excellent work strawb, on the upkeeping of our bet and this thread. only a day and a bit to go mate! ;)

alright, i dunno if this will see me veiwed as an arsehole, but i want my son (3 and a half now) to play professional sport.

a basic rundown on my sporting attributes.......

accomplished junior basketballer, making state squads in u16's. moved to adelaide to try cut down on travelling (mildura to melbourne/bendigo every second week wasnt much fun for the mother, and my schooling suffered) and try to further career. quit basketball after 2 months of living here. angry mum kicked me out at 16yo.

went and played a few preseason games at south adelaide in u17's. probably showed enough to be a fringe player, with fitness/dedication being my biggest problem. gave that up and went to play for aldinga. still here 8 years later.

other decent sporting attributes, competed at the junior victorian state athletic championships in the 4x100m relay (4th) and high jump (1st, and broke anthony koutafides record)

basically, sport is in my genes, and i'm not sure which way my young lad (Kobe) will go. obviously, i dont wanna push him to the point where he hates me, but want him to succeed.

when/how is a good time for me to start figuring out which way we should go?

Before I became a dad I always had these ambitions that my kids would play sport and play it well 24 hours a day. I love sport and I have played a bloody lot over my years and alot at very high levels. Mrs Choccies was also a very accomplished 'sports chick' in her day as well. I wouldn't push them, but I'd enthusiastically encourage them and do what I could to ensure they had the best chance to succeed. I looked forward to these times. In 2003 my eldest lad was born and I made sure there were plenty of sporting options around the house to encourage him to float towards them and enjoy them. My plans were clear and I looked forward to it with anticipation. Enter 2007. He was diagnosed with Autism and sport was pretty much ruled out. Whether I was devastated or not I still don't know to this day but I quickly accpeted that he wasn't going to play sport in a competitive way but my disappointment soon turned to happiness when I worked out that he loved kicking the footy in the backyard just as much, loved playing cricket with his old man and loved watching sport with me. When son number 2 was born in 2008 my hopes were rekindled that maybe I could have one of my sons achieving my original desires to be a parent of a great sportsman. Well, at this point we are in the middle of numerous tests at the WCH to uncover the source of his severe balance issues and lack of speech that point to some brain related issues.

So basically to boil it down, I have now pretty much resigned myself to the fact that my boys probably may not play any sport, but their love of sport is there and my love for them is always there and that is all that counts now. I'm probably more proud of them for fighting adversity than I probably would have been for them kicking their first goal. My eldest lad calls himself my 'assistant coach' on Saturdays and I'm happy to have him taking an interest and enjoyment out of my passion.

that's awesome to hear chocco. good to see they're still involved and love it, and more importnantly, it's something you can still do together.

A Mum sticks her head in 'the shed' for a second -
ignoring the posters on wall, the beer bottles and pizza boxes on the floor

And says - Choccies - bought tears to my eyes.
Goodluck with the tests etc @};-
And I love the fact that your son calls himself 'the assistant coach' so cute.

We can always tell that you are as proud as punch with your boys in all that you post about them O:)
