Sorry old fullback have had prior arrangements to do this morning. TTG once the rain set in were really good their solid bodies in those conditions yesterday thrived. TTG oval in that weather didn't hold up very well hence the low scores. Once again we got found out playing in the wet. I'm sure The_Warrior will cover it all in his wrap.

Was shocked to see we went top even though we lost makes yesterdays loss even more costly as we could have gone 1 game clear and you are right old fullback I am not very happy with the loss

The days i remember playing at TTG it was a mud heap in winter, anything changed?

Nothing's changed mate!
Mounty loved it absolutely dominated the earlier game & if he doesn't win the div 7r medal it's a disgrace.

Champion player who should still be at IFFC. :ymsigh: :(

3/5  Tipping in Div 7 is getting too hard :?

The Mawson Lakes Saints headed to Perteringa Oval on a typical winters day yesterday as they took on the 5th placed Tea Tree Gully. These teams met in the 1st round where the Saints were comfortable winners, but were now meeting in completely different conditions with both sides boasting changed line ups. Perteringa Oval was in complete contrast of the Mawson Lakes Oval that they met at in Round 1, and this could be classed as telling in the result.

The Visitors got off to a good stat with the returning Rob O'Gorman and the dangerous Ivan Novosel kicking early goals. Lachlan Kennett and Nathan Bruce Gordon were using their pace to good affect and were troubling the Gullies midfield. With a 1 goal lead, at the 1st term, the Saints extended it to a 3 goal lead when new tall forward recruits Shane Stanley and Shane Scragg kicked goals. It looked like it was all one way traffic until Winter hit Perteringa Oval in a big way. The Rain started and continued on through till the final siren, the oval became a place pigs would be happy, the red sherrins became a cake of soap and full credit to the curator at TTG who somehow gets a cricket wicket prepared out of what was played on Saturday (dunno how he does it by October!). The Home Side shined in the inclement weather playing in a style that the Saints could not adjust to. Through the efforts of Peter Uncle and Leigh Tregloan the Bloods with their bigger bodies smashed the ball forwards at all cost, and were far more direct than their opponents. Goals were hard to come by, and with the Saints tall forwards struggling with the conditions, small Gully defenders Terry Menadue and Alex Williams dominated. Menadue was outstanding on key forward Novosel. With the Saints only kicking one goal after half time, TTG held on for a 2 goal win. Mawson Lakes will have it's hands full this week as it takes on the in-form Central United while TTG showed it will be no push over for the rest of the season, particularly at home.

He's getting soft in his old age, playing D grade and masters footy, chasing medals and All Australian selections ;)
Won't be back at IFFC while current regime is in place, was on the committee 2 years ago when a sneaky coaching selection was made and he found out a week later, end of story, TTG's bonus

Central United 1315.00 7,890 v 04.07 31 Adelaide University Goalkickers will be a long list in the Sunday Mail tomorrow

very big score hahaha nah i think it was somethink along the lines 13-15-93 to 4-7-31 anyway the games were great A grade and b grade all credit to adelaides uni B grade who just never let us get away kept fighting all the way and for us it was one of the clubs best wins in a few years.. as for the A grade i think we might be a bit more then what other clubs think we are gelling well and looking slowly like the side to beat. but great game and played in awsome spirit.

Blacks v Glenunga - Normal mid season fade for blacks sides coinciding with Exams / Holidays.
mawson lakes v Units - Good win last week, but don't quite trust a win against the blacks this time of year
Shocs v TTG - Home ground advantage the difference
Flinders U v Angle Vale - Crabs play better at and close to home. Hoping to avoid a zero season will battle hard, but lose by 2 goals
Modbury v Raggies - Home ground the difference
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.
