ha ha ha this is allll soooo funny and good for a laugh, damn hilarious at times ..so lets liven it up some more shall we ..

in my opionion what is laughable is the way you defend kangarilla. and an even bigger joke and good for a laugh is the coach.
and mate it is a footy forum not a grammar/spelling contest and if you want to get into it, your spelling leaves alot to be desired too, you do like to edit alot of your posts.
back onto footy from the results on sportingpulse it never looked like kangarilla had a chance against maccy. at least they should get a win this weekend against sedan.

After seeing Sedan/Cambrai on the weekend I would'nt write them off.
They tried hard and I thought that they never gave up.

come on fair suck of the sav. they lost by almost 300 points which is nothing short of disgraceful. i think writing them off is definite but not insulting in any way.

from what i hear a 4 to 1 chance of taking out the association goal kicking medal. not bad value either i might chuck a cheeky couple clams on it

they were competitive for the first half but after that maccy dominated the contest should have won by more by johno decided to rest a few players & put them on ice for gumeracha this week it should be a cracker

sick and tired of coming on here for a read and all the Crichton bagging, the bloke is doing the same job as anyone else would with the limited cattle he has, people should worry about the state of the league rather then kangys, how can any clubs be competitive when other clubs in the comp are forking out 40 grand plus a year on players.

country footy is in a very bad way and will only continue when a salary cap is forced and policed. If blokes will only play for cash then i wouldnt want them at my club

Unfortunately the days when players played for their club and not money are well and truly gone and have been for quite a few years. I dont think country footy is in that bad a state, next year when tv go up i think clubs may relax their spending a bit which should even up the comp even more. The days of forking out loads of cash just to be competitive should be over.

if teams just played with locals and spending wasnt appart of country footy we would still see teams being belted and having a tough times beacuse some towns dont have access to players like the bigger towns might. teams pay to recruit to survive which means other teams do it to stay ahead and the cycle continues. all that happens is that it creates a greater standard of footy which can only help juniors cme through the competition to watch some great footballers.

Scottroo - Salary cap would be great but is impossible to police so not worth a pinch of shit

Joe Blow - I don't see clubs spending less just 'cos TV go up, you'll have one of the central clubs down who will want to get back up and most clubs will consider themselves more of a chance for the flag so may well spend more chasing it. Unfortunately country footy is in a downward spiral where everyone is just spending more and more.

Mag Master - Not sure I agree $'s improve the standard of footy. All leagues are doing the same thing, it doesn't create more footballers or make them any better it just means there is more movement between leagues and clubs and costs everyone more than it should. I'd much rather the kids looked up to quality home grown talent.

I've said it before but I think a uniform staggered points system across all leagues is the only thing that will change things. Top team gets 25 points up to bottom team who gets 35. Still leaves plenty of room for recruiting and would even up the competition. Perhaps your top country div teams could be allowed more points if they nominate to go up, provided they are forced to go up if they finish top 2.

the standard of football now to 10 years ago is ridiculous. all teams are more professional and in general better quality. and my point is the fact that some clubs have more home grown talent then others so people spend money to even the playing feild.

Actually, it's yourself and your anti-Kangarilla cronies that dribble the most rubbish and continue to break forum rules. I've had enough of the personal attacks being bandied about in this topic, I won't show leniency anymore.

I know most probably don't care too much but what are the views of people on here about Lobethal or Birdwood playing in the Country Div next year. It seems both clubs want the constitution changed so the Central Div is an 11 team comp as of next year. The majority views would suggest this would not be a wise move and may damage the fabric of both Hills Divisions. Clearly it hasn't been dealt with well by the HFL but to create an 11 team comp would only weaken the competition in both divisions... and where does it end? I personally have played in the Country Div many years ago and found it to be a great competition. Sure you currently have a couple of teams who are copping some floggings week in week out but the competition overall seems very healthy. I know most would like to see TV go but at the same time I'm sure you'd like to see a club fill their empty space. It sounds like this will come to a vote by all clubs in a few weeks and may have some drastic results if either Birdwood or Lobethal get their way.

geez ats for someone who was sick of talking about relegation on the central div page, you certainly have a lot to say about the matter elsewhere :?

the truth hurts.
kangarilla fans shouldnt dribble rubbish about how good they are going to be in the second half of the season. the old saying applies here. dont talk the talk if you cant walk the walk.
makes me laugh even harder about benchmark continually editing posts. i especially like the edit where the dribble that was written was edited to reflect nothing.

those that boasted about kangarilla's success in the second half of the year were a select few and probably dont reflect the views of the entire club membership. everyone is hoping for an improvement but with a grade players dropping like flies with injury it will be a difficult proposition.
