Dominican offspinner Shane Shillingford is the only new face in the West Indies squad for the first Test against South Africa that gets underway in Trinidad from June 10. Dwayne Bravo will be Chris Gayle's deputy in the side, which also includes Sulieman Benn, who was controversially sent off the field by Gayle after a difference of opinion during the fourth match of the ODI series which the hosts lost 0-5.

How strong was RSA's batting line-up, Mark Boucher batting at 8, you'd think that they'd struggle in the bowling dept. obviously not.

Oh, thanks for clearing that up, only tuned in when they lost their 6th wicket, I didn't take notice of the rest of the line-up as I thought it still would've been day one.

Yeah i did the same but when the 5th wicket fell and Prince walked to the crease. i assumed they dropped boucher and De Villiers was keeping to play an extra bat. But there was a delay on day one hence the night watchman

West Indies have dropped opening batsman Travis Dowlin and replaced him with Barbados opener Dale Richards in the squad for the third Test against South Africa at the Kensington Oval from June 26 to 30. Fast bowler Ravi Rampaul was also not in the list of 13 because of a side strain. He has returned to Trinidad to continue rehabilitation.
