I'm not sure if a free kick can even be awarded to start with! let alone a free kick and then a 25 after the fact. The way dad explained it to me was that an elizabeth player ran through a plympton group of players and collected a few of them on the way through maybe? thats the only thing that he could see that it was for?!?

I think during quarter breaks the only thing that can happen is a player/official/coach/etc can be reported, but no free kicks. i think!

Is that how you saw it? I know you can however hand out 25s for umpire abuse from crowds, but it'd want to be a fair bit of abuse if i was ever to give one of those out! But not when the free kick should not have been given in the first place!

yeah pretty much how it was and crowd abuse a 25 pretty much means the umps can do anything and say crowd abuse

If the supporters are not dressed in club colours how would he know which teams supporters they are? unless he believes its upto the match day official for the home club to keep them in check? If this is the case im sure the away club could score themselves a few free kicks with this method.

2ndly the blokes behind, please tell me the 37 clubs you've been to chasing coin that not one person from alllll those clubs didn't bring there own booze??? As for the reaction from the supporters from saturday as they are unable to read minds they may have misunderstood what was happening. few went home, and weren't happy, but as stated before they were unaware why they went to the middle of the ground...and they were annoyed they had to drive all the way to see them play and stood in the rain and felt a bit annoyed they got segregated, as i stated before they were unaware of the situation.... i left before the final siren too cause i needed a ride home, is that ok with you? as for they U/18's coach, this is the 1st time ive heard of it and would be very surprised if true....
dual b&f player is 1st ove heard of that aswell.... that comment bout the game plan was false....
i personally support symo and what he is trying to achieve, however players have to held accountable aswell... were out of form and we are trying to turn that around...

Actually the 3 clubs ive played for not one supporter has bought their own booze to the game they support the club by buying beers at the game. A good club wouldnt tolerate it and ask them to get rid of it.
Im always at the club thurs nights and sat night spending money over the bar.
And by the way i left plympton to go play under symo at lobethal it wasnt about chasing money. The thing about the game plan was bought up to the coach by a current a grade player.
So which one on fb was a ripper the one about the fact the bar manager nearly sent the club broke with a bill of thousands that he couldnt pay. Symo does not need so called supporters questioning him if you are behind him maybe you should pull them in and get the club united, because Plympton Football Club who have such a proud history should not be in div 5 they should be higher up in the divisions.

There are too many fantastic footballers in that side ie Deery,Rats,JSmith, Hibberd, Vanders, Roach Veenvliet the list goes on to suggest they wont 1 play finals 2 go up to div4
Symo is a champion bloke and coach with 5 A grade premierships as a coach so i would believe he would know what he is on about not some bar flies with chips on their shoulders. You are lucky to have a guy with his credentials coaching the club
I hope Plympton turns it around and shows the division what they can do because i looked at the side at the start of the year and saw the ins and you didnt lose many players and i thought you were ahuge chance to win the flag. but footy is a funny sport and anything can happen

I think your comments here have just shown why you were such a popular player at plympton and have been so sorely missed.

Your comments here are quite destructive, and unfounded. It might be a bit different if you are actually witnessing this yourself but your "heard it from a reliable source" is nothing more than utter nonsense.

You are a galah, piss off back to the div 3 forum, where you also try to make outlandish sensational statements.

hollywood7477 wrote:I spoke to a very reliable source from Plympton today and from what he was telling me there are huge problems down at the kennel. Ranging from player disharmony. Apparently on a thurs night after training there are 3 different A grade groups ranging from the ones Symo has brought in to help the side improve to possibly go up a division. The other 2 groups are one with the likes of blokes that came back to the club last year that played a couple of years ago headed by a dual b&f and the other group is players that were in the A grade before Symo came back and still believe they are Agrade players. Also a certain 18's coach is attempting to take Symos job so the knives are out, also another ex player at the start of the prelim final last year in the wrm up said to the players that we might not believe in the game plan but lets go out and try and win.
According to the source at 3 1/4 time last week when symo took the players to the centre of the ground to show then the best way to attack and win the game the supporters cracked the shits and went home, they believe that symo had segregated the side from the supporters. Who cares if the players are taken away from the supportes isnt it about winning the game.
Now another thing that i was told even though i knew this is at home games so called supporters that sit behind the goals dont even buy beers from the club they bring their own grog, then continue to bag the players.
for the side to win games dont you think that the players need to come together and start playin for eachother do the one percenters other than when they gey told to man up on someone just look at them and ignore them.
Now Jabber and any other Plympton supporters have you got any response to this

Hollywood on the rampage! some big comments directed at PFC I would have to say things arent as rosy on and off the field at the kennel as a few on here would have u think. As with alot of footy clubs there are alot of people with different agendas and when the team is losing these seem to come to the surface alot more. I too have been present when a couple of new players have been givin a mouthful from long time club people while they were sitting at the bar hardly what you want to happen if the club wants these guys to stick around(this has happened twice)but a win this weekend and all of a sudden the supporters are back on your side, thats the fickle nature of supporters

Hope Valley vs Elizabeth
A huge battle looms as 3rd plays 4th at Hope Valleys home deck. Hope Valley play their home ground very well but it is quite similar to Argana Park. After two consecutive losses the Valleys will be keen to get back in the winners circle, a few injuries atm are hurting them and this will be a tough gig for them to try and hold that double chance.
The Eagles had another impressive day on Saturday as they regained 4 quality players, keeping their talented line-up on the park will be the key for them to be successful this season. Their experience will be a major factor this week to not be daunted by the Hope Valley ground that the Valley's haven't lost on this season so far.

Blackfriars vs Rosewater
Blackfriars have fallen right off the radar since their outstanding away from home win against Plympton, a home game against an inconsistent Rosewater could rejuvinate their season and steer them closer to safety from relegation. Coming off a loss to bottom placed North Haven would have sapped confidence out of them and it's going to be a big turn-around to knock the Doggies off.
After tipping the Doggies last week they let me down slightly, in essence it was an honourable loss but I'm sure they wont see it that way. Expect Rosies to come out firing to keep their finals chances alive this week and record their first win at St. Doms against the Blacks.

Hectorville vs North Haven
Heccies continued on their merry way with a convincing away win against Lutheran last week. I can't see them being pushed too hard this week against bottom placed North Haven.
The Haven's have lifted their spirits recently with a surprise win against much fancied Elizabeth and then a win against Blackfriars despite being plagued with injuries. The away game in between would be their worrying factor as they travel to Daly Oval where Heccies have won by an average of 75 points this season.
Last Time They Met
Round 2 2010 @ North Haven: Hectorville 18.20(128) def. North Haven 8.8(56)

Brahma Lodge vs Adelaide Lutheran
The Lodge continue to come home with the goods and confirm themselves as being the 2nd best side in division 5. They have had some impressive away wins and comfortably defeated Lutheran at Thebarton last time they me. A welcome return to a few of their key players after the break should see them refreshed and continue to consolidate a double chance spot.
Lutheran just haven't quite put it together consistently yet, they have a strong line up and plenty of depth but are languishing in 7th which is somewhat astounding. In an even competition they cannot be dismissed yet and are still a bit of a smokey team if they can reach the finals.

Good to chat to a few of the Valley lads on Saturday night when they came in for a couple of beers.
Hey Ash Man, did you end up doing the trifecta for the weekend?

Hmmmmm
some interesting stuff about Plympton being said!!!
For a team like that not to be winning more games there must be unrest. My opinion - Not everyone has to be best mates or even like each other but we play football to win premierships not for the individual but for the team and the club and the way the dogs are going at the moment thats not going to happen.

Dogs have 8 games to earn some respect back from their own supporters and a win on saturday puts all the knives at bay for another week. The fact of the matter is supporters can handle 1 or 2 or maybe three loses but when the team is seriously expected to challenge for the premiership and only wins 3 of the first 9 games (no matter how close the loses are) questions begin to be asked.

I also believe that some of the new players being blamed for the teams poor form have actually only played 3 or 4 games so maybe it is the existing players who aren't up to it!
