Totally agree. There would have been 4500-5000 for sure.
When I was a bus conductor for 10 weeks, back inthe days when they had them, I learned there was a technique of gathering up tickets in good condition off the floor and claiming credit for them as mis-punches.
[Having taken the equivalent cash out of your bag before the reconciliation at the end of the shift.]
I don't know whether this sort of thing would be possible at the SANFL ground gates.
Thereafter, as a bus passenger I was inclined to screw up my used ticket thoroughly before disposing of it.

Sad isn't it...Centrals are one loss away from being Norwoods bitches! ;)

P.S. Norwood DID sing their club song after beating Centrals in that trial match.

Couldn't make the game but super glad to get back on the winners list. A win this weekend against West will go a long way towards securing a finals postion which will be a massive achievement for Bass and the club given where we've been over the last four years.

i agree as well.....perhaps they don't count the free tickets which hottie & i used to get in :? :?

My theory is that they have 4 Centrals fans keeping count as part of the work for the dole scheme. And the clown who gets asked to count the 000's, doesn't know what comes after 2.

Still bringing this fallacy up? I thought that was put right at the time - it didn't happen and I don't know why you keep insisting it did. Even it is was the case, why is it so important to your club?

Why do some Centrals supporters have to troll through pre and post match game threads that don't involve Centrals? Obviously it's all about sh!t stirring and getting a bite back. So here's a bite back - but only after 2 weeks of patiently ignoring the voluminous tripe that comes from some doggies keyboards. Save that crap for your own forum.

Speaking of slow. The first half when cats and dogs fell from the sky and very few goals were scored. That was slow.

Just about my perfect day, stand in the bloody rain all day only to watch Norwood win.

The first quarter was slow - 5 points to 3 at quarter time. As for the second quarter, neither side could miss IIRC and Nwd kicked 4 straight to Port's 2? Talk about chalk and cheese.

And yes, it was a bit damp down there - Not driving rain but just constant drizzly spray!

I actually disapproved of it, that's why I took to screwing up tickets afterwards. ;)
