daicos - there is no issue, none whatsoever - so please lay off trying to create this friction between me and the club. This is a club which I have a long association - and I dont need someone (unknown Identity as well) trying to drive a wedge between us.

Just wondering, would anyone have picked Lincoln South to head the ladder, and dominate Mortlock selection, at the start of the year? Because it's blown my mind out a bit...

Or to that matter can anyone imaging Snapper as a premiership coach??

Probably goes with the rough diamonds who have been recent premiership coaches......

Just flicking through the old pages and Marble Park had this...

Ladder positions at the end of the year:
MPFC
MRFC
WFC
TFC
BFC
LSFC

Rainbow also said that he would run down the street naked if Tasmans made the finals

I wrote this 8)

I think Marble Range have been built up too much, lets not forget they fell into the finals as bostons lost their last 6 games last season. besides the two finals wins they were awful last season. CHF and FF gone from last years side.

Steiger had NFI...
;)
MP -Can't comment but you would think finals and possibly grand final contender
Waybacks- Just a good club who generally get their **** together and will play finals
Tasmans - Apparently have recruited well BUT we hear this every year and in reality, and more often than not, the quality just lacks a bit (with a few notable exceptions) However putting them in for finals.
Prediciting a premier out of that lot is pure folly.
LS and Bostons - leaving them out of my top 4 but reserve the right to reassess after a couple of games

This has probably been done to death but the story in the Advertiser re the onfield thuggery a few weeks back hilighted one extremely major concern that hasn't been addressed.
The penalties handed out to the guilty players were nowhere near strong enough, give the thug a life ban, who cares where he's played before, sport can do without him and his type belting someone behind the play.
He's nothing but a "gutless coward" and the Commissioners have shown no strength or direction whatsoever so that makes them P...Weak too!

Fancy playing in that league, you never make arrangements for Sat nights, you could finish up in hospital.

I am prepaired to give HM another chance. It was a very dissapointing act especially from a role model and under 17 coach and he just lost it which even I did one day when Craig Bascombe gut punched me. PD is the one I want outed, he is what you have described aceman and every week looks to take someone out illegally.

With Burton's retirement today, can we expect to see him line up alongside Roo, Edwards and Perrie in a couple of weeks???
