Henley would have to be the most undisciplined team in div 6 (others that were there said the same aswell). There was a lot of behind the play incidents, on the ball incidents. They need to have a real good look at themselves starting with the captain of that team that was possibly the worst leader Ive ever seen. He was the instigator of 90% of the incidents during the game and am pretty sure he got yellow carded as well. Leading from the front? I think not. He is the one person you would think sets the standard and i was amazed to see him set such a pore standard right from the get go.
Have any other teams experienced anything like that from the Henley boys this year? full credit to the lockleys lads who kept their head, and didn't get sucked in to this. As a saafl follower i had to come on here and express my opinion,i know that henley in all other grades are not like this.

as for the weather, foxtel is lying to me again saying rain will hit late today and remain with us till tuesday.
zedman wrote:stubberfield aint 6ft 5..and osborn plays for kenilworth not lockleys and is well over 6ft tall and would be as strong if not stronger than bryant and stubberfield and maybe heavier..go and stand him one day..he is the in form premier forward of the competition..i always thought in the wet the so called "tough" teams with size and grunt do well but you say the TOS runners will benefit not WC who you rate as a straight ahead hard hitting attacking team that you like watching..i am slightly confused..so if it was a dry day you would favour WC even though TOS have great "runners" who you would imagine would like to play in the dry rather than the wet??? surely the TOS forwards can take marks as well?
my weatherman says 16 degrees with a possible shower..
dee man wrote:didnt actually say osborne played for lockleys,i know he plays for your boys, mentioned lockleys because of the fact you mentioned their forward,
as for big osborne,i know how big he is but to debate with you about him and stubby and bryant, well i would be just waisting my time

Just want to say thanks to the Henley trainer who helped one of my lads who tore his medial and for also assisting me from the ground.

Well well. It bobs up again. Good early Call - Here 4 a Grin I have seen a few games of Henley's Div 1 (A's & B's) and fair to say they play the game in right manner. After today I can't say the same about the Henley Div 6 C Grade - are they just dirty because they were forced into into Div 6 this year (instead of seeking their usual glory ) or just plain DIRTYYep the latter.
