Yeah I wasn't sure if it was going to remain a top 5 or not after Port Districts pulled out. I hope it is. Much better format than a top 4 IMO...

Last time they met...
Plympton 26.16 172 v Elizabeth 2.2 14
Flinders Park 13.11 89 v Hope Valley 3.4 22
Adelaide University 13.12 90 v Brahma Lodge 3.4 22
Hectorville 8.10 58 v Adelaide Lutheran 14.10 94

Elizabeth v Plympton Won't be by 26 goals, but should win comfortably
Hope Valley v Flinders Park Both sides very different from Round 1
Brahma Lodge v Adelaide University Brahma battling hard but Uni will be too strong
Adelaide Lutheran v Hectorville Luthies win will make it tougher for Heccies to make the 5, especially if Uni get up
North Haven BYE Probably a good thing by the sounds of it with a fair few out of the A grade stretching their numbers

i reckon this is turning out to be a very interesting season...
Lutheran v Heccies game will be a beauty, reckon heccies will lose but not by much... Lutheran 7pts
HV v Flinders Park- match of the round... HV by 8pts...
Brahma v Uni- Uni should win but BL aren't easy beats at all... Solid improvement since rd1... Uni 27pts

plympton v elizabeth- hopefully plympton can win.... alot closer then last game...

Well done HV without their coach. Great win after a 10 goal loss Round 1 against FP

I thought it was a bit of poor from the HV coach not being at the first night game.

Good game at Argana park this morning... Elizabeth will be much better the 2nd half of the year... very happy with the win today... Looking forward to the big challenge next week vs Flinders park.... Todays game was in good spirits... some very interesting umpiring decision, going both ways. if the elizabeth umpire is day younger the 65 i will be very surprised, but good club people are hard to find... full credit to him.. im glad we played the early game, ground was in very good knick...

I remember him. I'm surprised he hasn't blown away with a stiff breeze he is that old! Was shocking against us last year but I guess you have to take what you can get!

They can now request a SAAFL umpire on triple headers and tell this bloke he not required. All our "c" grade games have been played in pretty good spirit's but the elizabeth one could have turned ugly with this umpire.

yeah saw that..... pretty funny, your comments weren't harsh, you don't need people like that at your club.... spoke to your B grade coach during the A's, from he told me it's not a real loss... that incident would be in my top 10 strangest outbursts iv ever seen... however saw the same guy iin the club rooms during the half time break, acting loike nothing happened...

What happened there Custard?

And yeah was a good game, bit shattered at myself for missing a set shot 35 out in last quart when we had all the momentum and got right back into it. grr hate set shots!

And yes one of the umpires was very good, except i dunno how i can get pinged holding the ball when tackler had hands on footy holdin it to my chest i didnt lay a hand on it at all and got done! haha

Game was played in good spirits if i had one criticism just on my behalf, was i thought it was disrespectful when Plympton walked into changerooms doin that stupid woof/noise thing they do. Was a sombre day for our club and didnt think they needed to carry on with that yesterday, that is all.
