NBA Finals
Game Two

Boston 103
LA Lakers 94

Series tied 1-1

- The Lakers cant be TOO dishartened by this loss. There were a number of things that will NOT happen again in the series
- Ray Allen will NOT shoot 8/11 3ptFG
- Celtics will NOT make 11/16 3ptFG
- The Lakers will NOT be in foul trouble like THAT again (Odom 5 fouls in 15min, Bryant 5 fouls in 34 min, Bynum 5 fouls in 39 min, Artest fould out in 41 min)
- Artest will NOT contribute that little again (6 points 1/10FG, 1/6 3ptFG, 3/8 FT, 5 reb, 1 ast, 3 to, 6 fouls)
- Odom will NOT be the non event he was in this game again (3 points, 1/3 FG, 5 reb, 5 fouls)

- Rajon Rondo continued to show that he is a BIG GAME PLAYER with a triple double (19 points, 12 reb, 10 ast)
- Rasheed Wallace had an impact off the bench (7 points, 7 reb in 15 min)
- The Lakers would be extatic with the play of Bynum (21 points 6/10FG, 6 reb, 7 blocks), while Pau Gasol continues his strong play (25 points, 7/10FG, 11/13 FT, 8 reb, 6 blocks)

- and.....NO TECHNICAL FOULS (not even a defensive 3 second call)

Very interesting segment on One HD this afternoon. President Obama was being interviewed about the upcoming NBA draft and it was apparent he is a very, very keen analyst of basketball with many of his comments. Quite insightful stuff. Wondered how it would go if the PM was asked for a similar segment on the AFL draft.
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

Obama is a big Bulls fan and thinks Lebron would look 'great' in a Bulls jersey. Hopefully those comments are enough to sway the King. 8)

Rondo's Triple double was the first in the NBA Finals since Tim Duncan in 2003

Lakers bench is doing some damage atm. Celtics bench has only scored 8 between them and Odom has 8 of his own

Ray Ray is struggling after hitting 8 3s last game. Boston need a miracle to get back in this game.

FISH!

I know only the BONA FIDE get their Laker jerseys retired - The Logo, Wilt, Kareem, Magic, Big Game James, Gail Goodrich...

But geez, he's the heart of the club.

Fitting if #2 is one day hanging high at the Staples Center.

Hope Michael Cooper is someday recognized in this way, too...

100% agree with you there MagPow.

i'd say maybe if the Fish didn't leave for those few seasons, and stayed with us his whole career, he'd be well on his way to have the #2 hanging from the rafters!

oh, and ya forgot ol' Chuck! with the picture of the microphone instead of a number!
