If they want to be contenders and not just make up the bottom couple in the comp. have you seen them play Dig and are you happy with the results? as at the end of the day thats what matters. And thats what Hill and associates will be judged on.
I agree, no doubt they will be judged on their results at the end of the day. I have seen them play a few games this season, unfortunately the results have been a bit dissapointing, but in some ways have not reflected on how well they have played the game. But that's footy and it's the final score that matters. Some quality senior players would certainly compliment the young fellas, but they need to be there for the right reasons, for the club, not just cash. I can understand that it is frustrating for everyone involved, players, coaching staff, supporters and sponsors not getting the results they train and work hard for. I believe, and have seen that they are improving and on the right track.
It won't happen overnight, but it will happen!

We aren't paying anything near that Ol man. I dont know where Mclarens spend there money & dont care but im pretty sure they pay some players. Emu's pay players dont they? Myponga is a small town & will always need to recruit but will also continue to blood young kids. We've had 2 kids come up from last years 17's for regular A grade games & 4 current u/17's play A grade games this year, another to play his first game this week in Scott Ogilvy. Sam Tregenza played his first A grade game at 15 years of age last week & has been picked in the 18's at South Adelaide this week.
I dont reckon to many teams have done this so far this year. As i've said no quick fixes with $$$. It will take time but we will continue to recruit players for positions the kids & locals cannot fill.
