Snake we will have a few key players back in this week, but still our fair share missing. Id say by the Henley game we will be good to go barring injury in the next 2 games. If the boys can get over the line this week and Houghton go down to WC then CLG should jump to 4th at the end of the 1st round.

Colonel Light Gardens v Kenilworth - good close game..maybe 2-3 goals in it
Ingle Farm v Lockleys - 15 goals
Paralowie v Trinity OS - 20 goals
West Croydon v Houghton Districts - real tight one..no surprise if HDFC wins but home ground should do it
Henley v Mitchell Park - time for the parkers to pop their cherry

Given the inclusions to the CLG team, namely Green, Visser and Osland, I am leaning toward them in this Southern Derby (how underdone are the latter two?). Kenilworth, missing the likes of Croucher and Oldfield, will have the dynamic ruck duo of Salisbury/Strobel at their disposal though and Osborn always looms as a danger.

This game will separate the tipsters, choose wisely ;)

pffft, i cant remember the last time the swine bought a drink haha.

But yeah he is right, alot of good players in that list that aren't playing at The Roo's this year. Definately hurt our chances this year.

Anyway, still half a season left. Its pretty likely we wont be relegated so maybe you'll see more youth coming up into the A's. With the players leaving, who cares. The ones that have are all starting to get long in the tooth anyway. There are plenty of young fellas there that would love to play A grade. That only bides well for the future.

Paralowie will still cause alot of teams trouble this year.

Colonel Light Gardens v Kenilworth - C'mon Lions
Ingle Farm v Lockleys - Hmmm the upset seriously could be on the cards! But I bloody well hope not!
Paralowie v Trinity OS - Still THE Favourites
West Croydon v Houghton Districts - Tough game, closer than many think. Hawks at Home.
Henley v Mitchell Park - I recon the "Minties" are a chance

CLG - will be a good game, but Kenilworth a half the side with Osbourne.
Lockleys - congrats on the win last week IF but you won't get close this week.
TOS - slow start but building momentum and form into the 2nd half of the season
West Croydon - the team to beat
Henley - looks very doubtful MP will win a game this season

Why on numeruos occasions this year has the 'Match of the round' been nothing but negative opinions with information that each reader could get out of the Sunday Mail or on this forum?? I'd like to see who the key match ups are going to be, the young blokes who could change the game or just something positive for the readers. Comparing div 6 to AFL does nothing for your journalistic credentials and even if you are doing this on a voluntary basis, repeating the same negative messages for numerous clubs sitting mid table does nothing for the image of the competition as a whole. Hell if these offending writer(s) were that knowledgable of this division, why are they not coaching?? GIVE US SOMETHING POSITIVE TO LOOK FORWARD TO ON THE WEEKEND!! Or if not positive at least constructive...... Good luck to all teams and I look forward to hearing about some great games in the future.

finally read the article.... DISGRACE!!! Obviously got as gripe about something... Not one bit informative... Just bagging...

Put your money where your mouth is fellas - one of the writers is unavailable for the month of June, so PM me if you'd like to have a crack at previewing a game for Round 10 and a game for Round 11.

Quichey mate, I'd have to agree with Woods, the writer almost seemed angry for some reason. Clearly he was a big upset that this was match of the round. Anyway Thats nor here nor there.

Like a coach with high expectations of a good player, I still don't believe the criticism comes from a sinister place.

At the end of the day CLG have only beaten the teams below them, perhaps the criticism of them has become repetitive, but they have the chance to silence the critics with a win tomorrow.
