Regarding the budget. Why on numeruos occasions this year has the 'Match of the round' been nothing but negative opinions with information that each reader could get out of the Sunday Mail or on this forum?? I'd like to see who the key match ups are going to be, the young blokes who could change the game or just something positive for the readers. Comparing div 6 to AFL does nothing for your journalistic credentials and even if you are doing this on a voluntary basis, repeating the same negative messages for numerous clubs sitting mid table does nothing for the image of the competition as a whole. Hell if these offending writer(s) were that knowledgable of this division, why are they not coaching?? GIVE US SOMETHING POSITIVE TO LOOK FORWARD TO ON THE WEEKEND!! Or if not positive at least constructive...... Good luck to all teams and I look forward to hearing about some great games in the future.

Would have to agree. The write ups for both CLG V KFC & PFC V TOS are not exactly high quality reading material.

In all fairness, IMO I don't believe the writer is bagging for the sake of bagging.

Put your money where your mouth is fellas - one of the writers is unavailable for the month of June, so PM me if you'd like to have a crack at previewing a game for Round 10 and a game for Round 11.

Colonel Light Gardens v Kenilworth - Both sides have alot of injuries but I think CLG will get up in a close one 11-20
Ingle Farm v Lockleys - Lockleys to keep on there winning streak and win easy 100+
Paralowie v Trinity OS - Trinity for me still the team to beat 71-80
West Croydon v Houghton Districts - Will be a hard fought contest but WC to have too many winners across the groung 31-40
Henley v Mitchell Park - Henley may just show how bad MP are this week and will win comfortably 31-40

Quichey i'm just asking for a positive and constructive article, CLG especially with 4 or 5 other clubs at times have copped unneccesary articles explaining every negative. Surely as a writer the match of the round is the show piece that captures the imagination of all readers and gives the league a POSITIVE image. At this rate this years GF will have 5 people watching because there will be no intrest. I have plenty of support for my voice via PM's. I will not write articles because every1 that knows me knows I was pretty much born at KFC and I am heavily biarsed and I will not do other games because of work I have seen half the sides only. I'm not prepared to write bull---t to readers.

It's a tough "GIG" writing a spot or two in the SAAFL Budget and not the place to make enemies, that's why I wouldn't touch it with a "Barge Poll". There's obviouslly some history there with the writer and CLG. But I believe it to be more than one writer and this anti CLG theme appears each week, so maybe there's more to it. There's always the conspiracy theory of "us against them"....I'll leave that one for the theorists to theorise over

I'm no journalist but a broader and perhaps fairer coverage of all clubs, in particular "The Lions" should be available. A digital rag is not the place to rub anyones nose in it, save it to when it matters on the field....and hey by the way I don't think CLG are done with just yet either! So don't critisize them too harshly or personally they may just get motivated and rub all our noses in it.

Still a lot of games and players to come back in and some to go for all teams. That Fat Lady is still sitting down and hasn't even cleared her throat yet! ;)

just had a read of the preview of the kenilworth v clg game, the writer should be ashamed of himself, constant clg bagging is starting to wear very thin, looking forward to the boys sticking it up this bloke and i know who he is!
