Now the HFL have realised that won't be the case they are looking at bending the rules to suit. Watch this space !!!

Doesn't surprise me in the slightest
Very used to being treated like a second rate club by the league.... when you get more involved with the club it's crazy the amount of hoops a club like us has to jump through!
As for the actual rumour, would make the HFL look like an absolute joke if halfway through the year they decide to change the constitution, the very rules the league is built on.
Dont get me wrong, I for one don't want to see Loby or Birdwood go down, enjoy Div 1 how it is but to make this move now would make the league look silly....

I wouldn't have a clue, I'm guessing the lawyers would work that out. I'm only repeating what I heard. If true, I guess it shows the desperation of Lobethal to stay in Central

You've been badly misled.
The HFL constitution states 10 teams in Central Div.
The only potential change will be to limit Country Div to 10 team to prevent a team from the riverland forcing their way in.

Sounds like when Adelaide Uni in Division 1 were getting relegated to div 2 in 2007/2008 they made all these threats about being the first SA club and they have always been in div 1, bah, bah, bah - but guess what, they got relegated to div 2 & have been there ever since![]()

You actually think the league singles Ironbank out and makes life more difficult for you lot than everyone else?
Give me a break.

May want to look at a new set of spectacles DA
We know that's the constitution, the rumour was they're looking at changing it.
