Yeah I was being facetious.....
I honestly expected a bit more from them but I think once we had a few on the board and they had nothing (10-0 at once stage) I think they dropped their heads. Credit to them though, they didn't get stupid and start being undisciplined...

I agree Sturtman re there coach, but speaking with him last week just said he must believe that what he is trying to implement is right. There would be a lot of vulutures circling but he will be right.

I wonder if he is getting the backing of his players ?? I mean from what I saw the B's seemed like a reasonably good, tight knit unit where as the A's seemed like they had only met yesterday..... Are there guys playing B's that should put their hand up to step up into the A's ?? Who knows.... but I'm sure they wont give up and I hope they get a few wins on the board cos they seemed like a pretty good bunch of lads...

I believe there are a few guys in the b grade who deserve a crack but havent been given one for what ever reason. They are also struggling a bit with injuries to T. Blight and S. Skewes both have hamstring problems. Also i believe they went into saturdays game too top heavy B. Nappa and D. Cummins spent most of the time on the bench due to this fact.

Yeah I saw one guy go off with a hammy really early in the game Saturday... that doesn't help on days like that.... But definitly some of those B graders could play A's... if they want to of course ??

Fitzroy v Pulteney @ Fitzroy Sports Club - Roys will be too strong for Pulteney on their miniature oval
Salisbury West v Golden Grove @ Salisbury Downs Oval
Greenacres v Salisbury @ Edward Smith Reserve - Greenies in a close one. Home ground the only thing going for them I think
Woodville South v Pooraka @ Woodville Oval - Bulls in a very one sided game
Westminster OS v Unley @ Glandore Oval - Unley to cause an upset here. Westy's a bit up and down for me.

Fitzroy v Pultney. I am going Fitzroy purely on there home ground a Pultney win would not surprise if they can get there onballers going will win as there will be too much ball to Sarge. BUT Fitzroy by 4 goals

Salisbury West v GG. Think this will be a fair margin with GG the second best side at the moment. GG by 10 goals

Greenacres v Salisbury. Tight game, Greenacres seem to have got a few players back and should start fav, I am going Salisbury as they have a few really good fwds and should get enought ball. Salisbury 3 goals

Woodys v Pooraka. Hmmmmmm Bulls on parade. If the best Woodys do not rock up, this will be a long long long day for the Cats faithful. Pooraka the best team in the comp. Bulls by a bit

WOS v Unley. Unley obviously have a talented list, Its a matter of putting it all together. We were found out last week, so its a matter of how much that dented our confidence. I think we can bounce back at home and turn at 6-3. ( dont jump off us just yet choccies )

bring on the long weekend.

I think it is the Final 5 versus the bottom 5 this week with the winning teams in bold all to finish in the top 5 in my opinion.

Fitzroy v Pulteney @ Fitzroy Sports Club - will be close for a while but Roys by 5 goals
Salisbury West v Golden Grove @ Salisbury Downs Oval - Will only be about 5 goals. Westies will come to play and Grovers won so easily last week, they will not be quite on their game.
Greenacres v Salisbury @ Edward Smith Reserve - by 4 goals- should be close
Woodville South v Pooraka @ Woodville Oval - Woodville Sth will be better but Bulls by 10 goals
Westminster OS v Unley @ Glandore Oval - by 6pts - Game of the round

I've just had a read of this week's Budget, a 'huge' thanks to the person responsible for stitching me up in the write-up of the Greenies/Salisbury game. I'm not actually that important.
