This game is such a rollercoaster ride, I think that's why I love the JC's so much .. Always seems to find ways of screwing us over, yet there's similarly enough variables to get us over the line at times too.

I still can't work out how a race track gets such a deep hole, but we move on...

As long as Wharton wins i will be happy.... I think I worked out I now have about $40 on Wharton at $11....

Just reading up on UNITAB about refunds, and this is what it says

(3) Also, a licence operator must refund in full all investments
received on selections for a jockeys’ challenge, if—
(a) the jockeys’ challenge is postponed or cancelled before
it starts; or
(b) at least 1 horse race in the jockeys’ challenge is
cancelled before the race starts, and at the conclusion of
the challenge—
(i) the leading jockey does not hold an unassailable
lead; or
(ii) if there is more than 1 leading jockey—the leading
jockeys do not hold an unassailable lead.

Going on those rules if ANY race (not necissarily the last) is abandoned and a jockey doesn't win by at least 3 points then all bets are off... I knew if the rest of the meeting was abandoned that was the case, but on this it can be any race abandoned....
