Following on from WCP and Steiger, I'm against you OL (Sorry  ).

There's rules in football, and in that respect it is not tolerable to have spectators on the ground doing what Critter ALLEGEDLY did.

But a king hit, followed by a player laying the boots in, while unconscious, is most definetly NOT football, so IMHO, the rules go out the window.

Overloaded if you felt that a persons life was in jepoardy and you were within 20 meters and did nothing to stop it how would you feel after? Heartless prick. What would you have done if it was your son or brother?

my problem is that I should remain fairly silent on the matter, but I'm fairly passionate about this, and I don't want to imagine the uproar if this is not dealt with as it should be.

An left-field thought that I heard today was about parents/kids at the footy on that day.

What message would it send to parents watching the game? how keen would they be to let their kids playing footy, if these sorts of incidents are to occur? And be let go?

great call :ymapplause:

If an umpire saw Dudley allegedly kick a player and is found guilty of kicking a player on the ground he should be given the season off to think about his actions.

This was not your normal fight, this was an ambush that threatened life. I've had a mate killed after he received one punch to the head, kicking someone already unconscious is seriously wrong. The boy needed help, and quickly....
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

OL- so if an impartial, sober person jumped the fence to Hull's aid, that's ok?

I mean, someone not drunk or emotional?

Marble Park I was not there I was at home on the couch playing with my balls watching the Power get flogged.
If it was so close to the bench why didnt a runner or BFC official head out to sort it out? Where was the reserve umpire or PLFL official or BFC players?

So coming from yourself a PLFL official you are saying that there are occasions where the rules go out the window and its one for all and all for one?

just like to clear up a few things...
I do not believe that i was kicked by P.Dudley at any stage of the incident. Paeky and Phillip were wrestling and punching each other, as a result Paeky was taken to the ground and was booted in the face by Phillip. Well this is what i have been told. Obviously if someone did actually see me get kicked i will not be arguing as i was in no state to either feel or remember it being done.

What a coward

I also wonder if the Mallee Park runner will be investigated? I saw him make contact on several occasions. This was a big issue on here a couple of weeks ago but now seems part of the game in Port Lincoln

Their "role model" was off the ground after allegedly king hitting a 17 year old, supposdly more then once.
The club needs a few years out of the League, and hopefully getting rid of the "us vs them" thing going on.
If they both dont get suspended for lengthy periods, it will show how much of a joke the PLFL is.
I wont attend another game again at Mallee Park. And yes, the Dom incident a few years back was easiely the worst thing I have ever seen in a game of football.

The 'role model' would be feeling pretty bad at present and I hope he can put this behind him and learn from it. At least he did visit the hospital tto save some face. I am not sure about the history of these two at school but there was niggle between them all day and 'the role model' just snapped probably because the victim was not allowing him to have an impact on the game.

Dom, being a former local police officer, often copped a fair bit of flack when playing mallee park, on this particular occasion, he was on a hard lead toward the clubrooms from the goalsquare at the canteen pocket when hippy i believe came bundering ALLEGEDLY across the field with one of the worst snipers i have seen, resulting in a sickening crack heard by the whole crowd, then a delayed seconds later the mallee faithful in there cars started cheering and beeping wildly while hippy (or whoever it was) just grinned back at them. Dom taken from the field with badly broken femur (not easily done, the large bone running between your hip and knee) with the crwod still cheering..

In 2004 everything came to a head in Far West after an incident occurred and football was stopped for several weeks, an independent commission was formed which aims were to bring some respectability back to Far West Footy and keeps the competition going for the future. This has been a marvellous success with very little trouble since.

The commission comes down hard on repeat offenders with one such person was suspended for 20 odd weeks after an incident in a final in 2007 and after last year’s final was given 30 odd weeks because of their past poor record and the same person was involved in an off field brawl at the first game of this season and now is banned from going to any matches at all for the rest of the year.

I have found one important area to focus on is the fans, they cause trouble and shit stir from the sidelines so if they can be controlled then you are getting somewhere.

i thought whilst police were really unable to make decisive decision to what took place on hearsay, their presence late in the day possibly avoided the crowd turning nasty as there were alot of pissed mp supporters. i am sure you will see police presence at future MP games which shows how low some aspects of our league have deteriated.

on a sourer note alot of young kids witnessed what took place and whilst some kids thought it was cool and all, alot were really upset seeing a young guy they knew laying out cold not knowing if he was dying or what, and anyone that didnt feel sick in the stomach and angry watching what took place then wasnt at the game.
