I have to say I'm impreesed how well the Hamra Homes surface remained with the weather, especially considering when you see the mess AAMI was in today

Agreed. Considering the HHOE surface probably saw about 2/3rds of an inch of rain in the 24 hours to the match, I thought it held up pretty well. Certainly no issues having a bit of a run around with the young'ns during the breaks.

I'll look forward to an article from Rucci outlining how unfair it is for us

yep spot on & got the cash tonight however i needed mr horne to slot through the last kick of the day so south got within the points although that 2 goal turnaround didn't help either nearing halftime & i thought the call on your first up gig was pretty good, the call seemed to flow back & forth among the 3 men with ease

milne was courageous BUT WHAT WERE THE TRAINERS THINKING PUTTING HIM ON HIS LEGS    no matter what the problem ffs wait for the doctor just to be on the safe side

while i very much doubt south were going to win that 2 goal turnaround was the death knell for south as they never recovered after that

How many of those touches and goals in the last when the game was over and the dogs stopped playing? Might not have been 25 goal loss but closing in on 12 goals with 1/2 an hour to go on a wet day is a massive margin.

Given the input of the dogs key forwards on a day that should make the key backs looks darn good I can't see how Talia could be given so many kudos.

Like it or not, the dogs were a million miles ahead of south today. Perhaps the scoreboard only showed it in the third but the signs were all there in the first half.

So just because you won, and won comfortably, it means no South defenders could have been good? Talia was excellent, took some strong marks, spoilt so many incoming balls and tried to give a bit of rebound. Not only that, but his attack on the ball was first rate, he really hunted the ball and attacked it well.

Thanks for the nice feedback bayman, I think most people make that comaprison with Buckets being a modern day Super, but it was good that Darryl agreed with me!!

I think in slight defence to the trainers with Milne, they said in the rooms after the game, that HE wanted to try and stand up. Now being a big lad, even if they tried to hold him down, I think the fact that he had a knock to the head as well, face bleeding, meant he was probably a bit groggy and tried to get ot his feet without much success.

Belly and Doc Douglas (Central's head trainer and club doctor) were on the scene pretty quickly as it happened on the grandstand side wing and realised the situation pretty much straight away, getting the stretcher out to Cameron.

Spot on Southee i thought Liddle, Rolfe and Talia stood out for you guys , because of the conditions you guys should of been a lot closer, i was surprised that at one stage we were 11 goals up, whats gonna happen when Central get all their injured players back ??? Its gonna be very interesting.
