He did once upon a time......even had a rats tail in his early years......now its all washed down the drains in the Houghton showers, thats how long he's in there for after games.

Henley would have to be the most undisciplined team in div 6 (others that were there said the same aswell). There was a lot of behind the play incidents, on the ball incidents. They need to have a real good look at themselves starting with the captain of that team that was possibly the worst leader Ive ever seen. He was the instigator of 90% of the incidents during the game and am pretty sure he got yellow carded as well. Leading from the front? I think not. He is the one person you would think sets the standard and i was amazed to see him set such a pore standard right from the get go.
Have any other teams experienced anything like that from the Henley boys this year? full credit to the lockleys lads who kept their head, and didn't get sucked in to this. As a saafl follower i had to come on here and express my opinion,i know that henley in all other grades are not like this.
ok all after speaking to an A grade player from lockleys yesterday im gonna have to agree with H4AG he told me that number 18 was snipering blokes 15m off the ball and was just dirty all day, he even mentioned the coach telling the lockleys players to pretty much head hunt for the last qtr, the player i spoke to isnt one for the soft ball either so it must have been a pretty poor display by henley
sounds like the headbutt that the lockleys player dished out in the 1st minute of the reserves game which got him sent off with a red card and a suspension didn't come up in that conversation?
I really didn't want to bring that up - I really didn't, but if lockleys players & supporters are flapping their mouths complaining that so-and-so is dirty and old mate did this or that, then #$&% me!
Fair call IMO there was an incident in the Ressies.
Just for the record the LFC player had just received a free for a high tackle from his Sharkes opponent and as they were jostling and remonstrating over that, the young Demon planted a Love Tap on his nose. Severety of the blow on a scale of 1 to 10 about a 3 by all evidence at the tribunal. More a Head Nod than a Head Butt. Charge downgraded to Unduly Rough Play and player recieved 1 match.
So putting it all in to perspective, there's always 2 sides to a story and I think both clubs as a rule are generally pretty fair and play the game the way it should be played. Let's get on with the next game.

Dad's Jokes wrote:Well raiders, looks like the league still considers us dangerous at home, going by the majority of tips in our favour, even though we'v hardly won up there this year, plus we have'nt beaten CLG in at least 9 years........
Still, the faith is warranted, we'v got a lot of talent in the team, playing some amazing footy, just gotta put it together when it counts in the big games, Henley and Kenilworth should have been wins, imagine what the ladder would look like if they had.

We didn't get that luxury against MP in the first half. A former Kenilworth coach famously quoted that "The scoreboard never lies". So the score tells you that the game was close but there were reasons why. However all I am trying to do is pump up the lower teams for this week because I definatly know how they feel
yeah i hear ya and we do know their pain to well eh?
..that coach was a wise man then
btw..pretty sure coops is o/s so he wont be around unless hes gotten back into town this week..
