Bugger - your mob are just too quick

Seriously how bad is that idiot Neil Craig and the AFC board initially not offering Tyson a farewell match. Only when the abuse starts rolling in do they back down and grant him one. Spit my cornflakes out this morning when I read no farewell game. Would have thought that he deserves nothing less after the fantastic service he has given them as one of their best ever players. If thats how they treat their players  FFS they can't make the finals, he would arguably do as good a job as any young rookie they replace him with. Didn't have much respect for Craig, Trigg & Co before but now I have none, zero, diddlysquat f**kall for the wankers.

FAIR ENOUGH !
Tyson Edwards is an outright legend and should have been shown the respect he is due.
Particularly when they are hardly pushing for a top four finish.
Week in and week out he would have been the first one pencilled in on the team
sheet the only blemish was the BS betweenthe Edwards"s/Mcleods, bloody women!

I thought Whyalla couldn't get any worse but after seeing the local news tonight Whyalla has signed its death warrant by appointing their new Council CEO.
Its the same guy who dissapeared from Port Lincoln after leaving us (ratepayers) with an $700,000 debt that we as a community now have to fork out for for a complex that will never make money.
Yes it is true Whyalla have appointed Ian Burfitt as its CEO ~x( . The Whyalla mayor on the news couldn't stop singing his praises about his wealth of experience but maybe just maybe they should have interviewed us the Port Lincoln ratepayers and we could have said what a great job this man does :^o
RIP Whyalla

I have nothing against any club the leaases the community club and my views are my views and not that of the PLFL

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

hey fellas - been an extremely long week but here it goes....

Lincoln South v Marble Range
The Eagles have taken all before them this season - has their fitness played a part? After playing a couple of seasons together, they have persisted with their young list, is it paying off?? I am full of admiration for this playing group...talls up front....strong down back - young running midfield. Exactly where is Marble Range at the moment.... gaining fitness....learning a new game plan after three years with Zoomer.... where do there key players play fwd or back....tough questions need to be answered. The magpies have been servicable but how do they match up to the undefeated Eagles.....too quick, too many scoring options - Eagles for me..... Zigga Zagga 1- 39

Mallee Park v Bostons
You have the feel that Mallee Park have been keeping something in reserve - or have they?? I commented before that they currently lack the drive and carry of previous seasons....contested footy is the key to the Peckers....dont giv ethem the ball and they cant score - only a few teams have done it - unfortunately for the Tigers - I dont know that they can deliver in that regard - they will be competitive for a half, but the Peckers will over run, and outscore the Tigers. At some stage the Tigers will sneak a win from their consistant pressure - just not this week..... Peckers 40+

Game of the round
Tasmans v Waybacks

If Tasmans win - two games clear in Second....a massive achievement at this early stage.....If the Demons win - equal Second with the Roosters and two games clear in the four....WHAT A MASSIVE GAME!....It's gonna be very windy @ arctic park!!....therefore who benefits from the weather conditions.... I am concerned about Tasmans height - if its awful weather, game at ground level, that may swing the game in the Demons favour. I am excited by the Tasman game plan - contested footy, full of confidence, kick long and direct to the leading forwards - compete at ground levels and keep handball to a minimum - one to get out of trouble and the next to create....a lot to like!....So where are the Demons, there are a lot of positives, not blown away in any game, could possibly be 4 -0 with some luck and early fitness. Both clubs have excellent coaching benches - Carl and Sticks and Horgs, I expect the Roosters to come out firing on their home deck....does Konitzka get Wagner (I'd love to see it, kid on kid), who do the Demons match up against Cima, is it Ben Kayser??....Do the Roosters tag Davidson or Keatley.....Heart or head....crunch game..... the Dees for me 1 -39

great preview. you put a lot of faith in this Konitzka lad, from what I have seen he is lucky to hold his place in the side. I admire Davidson with his roving but he would not come under tagging talks from opposition coaches. Souths are playing above themselves and you are to kind saying that bostons will win a game. Just my thoughts

daicos - you might be surpised....I do put a lot of faith in Levi...great Kid and will be the cornerstone of the Dees defence for a long period....last year (at an early development stage) I played him as a Ruckman - but this year his strength has been running straight at the footy and being super disciplined and single minded in his approach. Horgs has developed Levi in many aspects of his footy - hats off!

Davo - simply sets the Dees up at he back of the packs, work extremely hard - gets the hard ball - If I was an opposition coach I certainly would tag him.....thats if he doesnt tag the best opposition playmaker ;)
