Brad Vassal may be having a run in the Sturt ressies this week surprisingly.

I doubt we will see him in a westies jumper.

Bit harsh, didnt realise that wearing the red sash was such an embarrassment. Obviously it must be a West Adelaide thing, Wasnt embarrassing for Ben Hart to pull on the Roosters guernsey at the end of his career?

Not sure he really has any real allegiance left to West. When Jars was coaching North, Tyson and family (given who he is married too) were always at North games and his kids run around with Roosters jumpers on.

Can't believe Vassal has been dropped.

Tyson was quite often at westies games when Rehn was coaching and his kids were wearing westies jumpers.

There may be a reunion for the 1994 reserves premiership soon so he may want to go to that ;) :D .

Agreed. I didn't think he was all that bad over the past couple of weeks...

I really hope that Herring and Evans can justify their inclusions with a couple of great performances.

If Sturt can play to their best and West play to their best, I reckon Sturt will win.

Sadly, given performances over the past few weeks, I don't have any confidence that Sturt will come out with the required mindset.

West by 4 goals... :(

As Trevor Hill has now gone I reckon it'd be time for Brad to come home.

I've heard something about him being late to the 7:30am Sunday session they had as a result of the loss to Port. Honest mistake with the alarm clock is what I've been told, nothing sinister involved like picking his girlfriend up from the airport at 2am ;)

Didn't he grow up a Glenelg supporter?? Seem to recall that from an interview when he first played for the Crows.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

yes he did, but there is no way glenelg would pay a hefty transfer fee for him ;)

Could go either way. Westies have shown some great form this year, so even if the right Sturt turns up we'll have a game on our hands. Otherwise things look grim as I am sure that the Bloods will be primed for this, and would not mind sinking the boot in for the thrill of it, if the margin blows out.
