Right in front of the stand, was outstanding, and yes, great to hear both sets of fans applaud that one. Perfect timing with the leap and grab.

I waited until I watched the replay until commenting on the game. My thoughts:

At the game I thought the umpires paid some baffling decisions both ways but on replay the majority were there although they continue to miss the first one or two and then seem to realise that then pay something that really isn't there? Having said that West may have tried to tag Allan properly instead of "employing the tactics" they did which really didn't curb his influence yet they gave away many frees off the ball and in the packs by trying to belt him (and one or two others) at every opportunity.

Collins must have borrowed Healy's game plan but watching the replay West way overdid the "flood" in comparison to North's usual "flooding" which was strange in a game that was for the majority relatively close but some credit I suppose should go to North for actually getting the ball in more directly and quicker this week. However some of the West backman should be commended for their contuining run from the backlines (Number 31 - Thompson, he looked very good as did 18? Greene) despite looking up with no one up forward to kick too as they were all behind the ball.

North's accuracy in front of goals is still worrying, kicked 1-8? to finish the second quarter and like the game last week against Norwood - that inaccuracy could have cost us.

No reports this week according the SANFL weekly media release, however, I think Shane Harris and the umpires have a look at the tapes of each game on a Monday so if Alleway is going to be cited, it may come out* in the next few days.

NOAHS ARC CUP
The Inaugural 2010 Noahs Arc Cup has been won by WA
Both sides won 1 game each this season
WA win on % by 43 points

NOAH MEDALS
Goes to the best 2 from each team

NA : ALLAN /STRIBLING
WA: GREEN /WEBB

This was quite an entertaining game
Good to see NA use the corridor, and get the ball quickly into the gun forwards
Been a while coming
WA put in thier usual gutsy effort, tried hard but beaten on the day by the better team

I was impressed with Shanon Green in this game
Could be a very good player

I estimated there was 50-100 West supporters there today. Lot of "Twilight" supporters.

gee obviously you never learnt how to count S.G. i reckon the crowd was 50/50 if not more west supporters than north

Not in front of the grandstand, where the majority of crowd was. There were 2 West supporters and at least 1200 North supporters. I guess there would have been more West supporters in the outer.

On the TV the crowd sounded very, very pro North but of course that was on the grand stand side.

More West supporters, you have to be joking surely??? West would have been lucky to get close to having 30 percent of the overall crowd at best.

LOL.
The last time Westies had more supporters to a game than the opposition was when they played a pre season match against Callington.

I'd be confident in saying West had more supporters than North for the first game under lights at Richmond this year.

Or just about any game when Chris McDermott was coaching North, well especially at the end of his tenure
