Good win by Imps yesterday.Too much fire power up forward for Meningie. Huge win by Mannum over the Bluds. The coach of Jervois must be feeling pretty gutted today after that display.

My info was that a few of the leadership group had a word with the coach about the positions a couple of them were playing.
They were not too happy in these positions and wanted to be tried in other ones. The coach has the right to play them where he wants to but the results are showing that the players could be on to something.

From what i hear the new Jervois coach is pretty much telling the players its my way or the highway. Having even told a few of the captains if they dont like it, leave the club. I believe this is the wrong way to be going about it. The leaders at Jervois have been involved in 4 premierships at that club and the coach should be asking for there input not telling them where to go. Maybe the coach should learn how to coach men and stop treating them like a group of sturt under 18's. From strong sources i hear he is on a huge power trip and a few people arnt liking it.

Mannum v Meningie- will give us a geniune look at where Meningie are this week! Having being belted last week against Imps, they will want to put up a fight this week. Only team they have beat of any note are us, & we had 5 out that day. Gun players aswell. Mannum by 42 points

Tailem v Imps- Well this is going to be a blow out, although from the results last week, atleast Tailem kicked over 10 goals. Imps by 89 points

Ramblers v Mypo- Both sides have very good forwardlines, so it will be a matter of who wins the midfield, & who's backline can stand up. We are definately better for the week off. Ramblers by 24 points

Fair enough. I would have thought if the Chooks had anywhere near a full side they'd win by at least 10 goals.

Ramblers over Mypolonga by 9 Goals ish in a very high standard game  We really only beat them in the 3rd 1/4 when we kicked 9 goals to 1.
Alto we had a couple out in Kay, & Pfieffer, I noticed they had a couple of good 1's out also in Eckermann & Smith. We probably weren't at our best but I think Mypo's pressure was pretty good.

That Mannum Vs Imps game should be a b*ll tearer Johnny W. Our oval is looking sensational in prep for the SANFL game on Sunday and the only thing that might spoil a fantastic game of footy is the weather forecast for tomorrow. Cold and crappy. Cant wait.
Forecast for Sunday is much better for all of you guys coming to see Sturt Vs West. I know a heap coming up from the Riverland to follow West so the crowd should be huge.

Games went as planned today..Ramblers def Bluds 27-22 to 3-7
Imps def Mannum 13-7 to 9-10
Meningie def Tailem 20-18 to 0-6

Would have been a while since Tailem haven`t kicked a goal in a game.
