That is my favourite Simpsons scene ever.

Chuck, I'm sure your boss loves it too.

Nah, I'm pretty certain he reads it.
He may even have commented on it recently.
Surely the new editor of the Loxton News wouldn't be on here would she?

Interesting that none of the highly paid imports made the best players in the interleague, all locals

For all you blokes thinking of coming to Mannum on Sunday for Westies V Sturt, the oval is looking sensational, the forecast is for about 20 degrees and really only a bit over and hour to get here. For those of you who havent seen our oval, it is BIG and skews towards fantastic, open fast running football. Footy at its best.
Huge amount of local interest so it should be a huge day. SANFL are talking about it being their best crowd of the round.

having said that, sucking a tinnie watching a few Riverland lads in the seconds and league team sound appealing.

Not sure I would put it that way, but we struggling little country clubs who have no pokie income stream need to make a buck when we can for all sorts of reasons.

I was being a bit facetious Onsong. Truth be known if we only followed teams who paid no one we might get to watch very little football. Find a solution to paying and patent it, make a million.

pokies aren't a sure fire way of making coin, a couple of RFL clubs had them and got rid of them
