They've already gone down that road don't worry.

Hmmmm.....well said ODB. While Cally may not have destroyed the comp by paying absurd amounts of money for mediocre blokes, they certainly succeeded in destroying themselves. Enough said.
Older, wiser and been there. But still love that grassroots country footy.

Ah yes, the Bond brothers comes to mind.
Having interviewed T Bond at one stage and finding out what he was asking, (this was immediately after the Onkas fiasco), he priced himself out of our calculations immediately.
Only cost us a counter lunch & an afternoon on the turps so we got out of it cheap!

I see Brett Wakefield kicked 21 on the weekend. Was he playing full forward?

bullfrog ....blokes couldnt stand stringer if paul didnt coach therer would be no wakefield or new recruits so maybe kfc would be in alot worse state if stringer was re appointed.

Correct jb, no wakefield he was gone ,no recruits up to 7 brought by the coach four playing good A grade footy ...things would be alot worse .And last year beaten by kersbrook by 35 goals this year by 10 ...7 under17s from last year playing A grade add that to the four recruits thats half a team, speaks for itself ..............kangys rebuilding for long term,B grade third ,under17s second ....... take a bex and have a lie down bullfrog

Is Trent Thorpe still playing footy? I haven't seen his name in the paper for Kangy so I'm guessing his not playing there anymore.

what do you have to do with kangys? you sure do like to defend the coach...... 2 of the 4 recruits you speak of playing A grade are the coaches sons. just out of interest what did kangys beat callington by last year? 38 goals this year doesnt seem that good when other teams are knocking them off by alot more.

You can't judge a team by how many dozen goals they beat the bottom team by.

with the mature age recruits being successful in the afl, this year is probably the best chance for him to get drafted. have heard that he is a package deal with smelt anywhere he goes!

my posts seem to go missing when i respond to you benchmark.

you cant judge a team by how many goals they win to a bottom side by, but you can judge them on how many goals they beat a top 2 side by?
