spend an hour less on the forum, jump in your car and go have a look, like the rest of us have to do ;) however cos its you one eyed its similar to rosies in the fact it runs the same way, fair size reasonably wide and best to attack the clubroom side. dont know what its like these days as in firmness but used to be pretty hard at times and pitch was also. in saying that great oval to play footy or cricket on and pooraka supporters will be quite vocal. hows that??? any further info will cost you a fifty ;)

TT, you're going to have to stop drinking heavy beer at lunchtime or the cooking sherry when you get home from work.
Pooraka Oval (almost N/S) & Rosewater (E/W) ran in opposite directions last time I was there.

TT, if we delve more intricately into the compass, I reckon Pooraka runs NNW/SSE, Rosie runs E/W

Both are oval shaped, covered in green stuff and have large white posts at either end too ;)
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

No. Some are 'normal' size, but I have noticed that Greenies and Unley have gone for 'mini posts' so as to not clog up valuable air space or to pay special honage to their juniors ??
