Bloody banks.
Which bank?!
Neither the ANZ nor BankSA [nor St George in Victoria] told me I needed to make an appointment when I walked in and said I wanted to open accounts with them.
St George asked me politely if I'd mind waiting 10 minutes for a specific staff member to be free.
The Commonwealth had someone see me straight away, but asked me to come back in a few days when they had the paper work done.
[That one involved Power of Attorney, and was more complex than a simple account.]
At HSBC the manager saw me straight away then made me an appointment with an assistant the next day to do the paper work, and again that was more complex as it was a superannuation fund trading account.

This bloody Staffordshire terrier that just ran into my house, picked up my bloody soup bones and ran away again! I chased it and got its licence number but the council phones were closed and now I can't remember the licence number. If I ever find out who its owner is, I will tear shreds off him/her.

to be fair should there only be one person who opens accounts that day and if others have made appointments they should get priority.

You should be able to do it over the phone DW, depending on the bank.

Angus has been on the public waiting list for nearly three years now to get his tonsils looked at. They block his whole throat. :( I've just got him on my private health insurance, so maybe we'll be able to get him sorted out now.

Eldest Choccie had his out tonsils and adenoids out 3 years ago and it has been the best thing. Like Angus, his blocked his whole throat and the docs were surprised he could even swallow !! But since then he has hardly had a throat infection or anything... :-bd

My SydneyPass failing on me tonight, meaning I got stuck inside Sydney Central stadium for 15 minutes finding a Cityrail employee to help me (in the end I had to go up to the country platforms to find someone).
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

It had a number on its collar, I figured the council would know whose dog it was so I could then go around their house and demand they recompense me for the loss of my soup bones...

I'd just got in the door - I put the soup bones in a bag down on the floor while I went back to get Luke and Angus out of the car. But when I turned around this dog was there. I thought I was seeing things but when I blinked it was still there. It made a lunge for the soup bones, then went and stuck its head up at my cat - thus making her tail swell to three times its size - and then bolted to the vacant land across the road. It was only a young dog and it kept running away every time I got near, thinking I was going to steal its bones. I have no idea how I did not see it coming up the driveway before I got inside, but there you go. :?

My repetitive mundane work days* appear just that when I have the chance to live in the world of Fisho for the odd moment during the day.

Gold.

* Footnote - They aren't that bad in all reality, but I needed to use such terms to highlight the difference between my day and the avergage day for Fisho *

No, I get people to chewing food in my ear all the time, it's so bloody annoying.

Why is it, that the person in front of you on the road (who is doing 10k less than the speed limit) is the one that gets shitty when you beep them to do the friggin speed limit?

If you weren't driving so bloody slow I wouldn't have an issue.

I seriously sometimes thing I should be the only person allowed on the roads because everyone else drives like nuff nuffs

My boss probably thinking the only reason I am not at work is because of the 15 minute Austar installation this morning...

The massive amounts of phlegm leaving my system have a little to do with it... :ymsick:

Agreed. The sooner we have two completely different road systems the better. Men on one, women on the other. ;)

The fact more people drive to work when roads are more dangerous. Is water falling from the sky really that scary?
