Son having his first "miss-understanding" with his GF.

HAs got the full silent treatment then the phone calls asking why he hasn't picked up and what is he doing and why isn't he upset like she is"

My advice to him say you're sorry and cop the hit.

This wont be the last time as a bloke you'll have to say sorry with NFI with what you may have or did do.....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Absolutely. Be smart and pick and choose the issues that genuinely mean a lot to you and stand up for them. The billion and one little things just let go, be sorry and move on.

Isn't it funny how in your younger days the silent treatment scares you and makes you feel shit.

When you cop it as an older bloke it's like you've just broken out of a cocoon.

A colleague and I were discussing our favourite George and Mildred moments, although neither of us had seen the show for 30+ years we both knew what each other were on about.

I have now started watching it from scratch.

Bugger that. You need to nip that shit in the bud immediately otherwise he'll be copping it for the rest of the relationship. Terrible advice.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No

Good stuff, but Man About The House is decidedly better. George and Mildred had devolved into stereotypes by the time they got their own series. Got a few DVDs of MATH at home, and Robin's Nest too.

Gold, I watched the first episode earlier.

Tristram says to his dad "Can I go down to the park to play with the other boys?"
"No, all them boys are all too rough Tristram, just play on the path here" Jeffrey replies.
"What if I find a smooth one, will that be ok?"

George and Mildred ok, but as a result, I've always had an unhealthy dislike for any kid with the name Tristram

Popped up at my cricket club in the adelaide hills for a season about a decade ago, cant recall how it came about as I dont think he was living nearby. Certainly seemed the transient type.
