Tassieboomba = 95.7 kg as at 5 min ago. Actually not too upset at that as the last week has been shocking vis-a-vis work (no exercise and lots of late nights.....)

off for a run now...

1 kg a week for 10 weeks should get me to 86 kg before XMAS (easier said than done) I just have to remember:

Energy Out (exercise & daily living tasks) has to be > energy in (food)

Would help If I could bat for longer than 30 mins each Saturday a couple of 3 hr stays at the crease will do nicely for the figure and the self esteem......
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

OFF TO GET THE PAPER

thought i'd walk to get the paper today. about a 2km walk and thought about the MM foundation.
well things were going quite well until i got outside the house and bang into a 32C heat wave here in canberra.
still i soldiered on this epic journey that got me closer and closer to the shopping centre. then it hit me . to get my paper i had to pass mcdonalds, kfc, subway, then inside the mall wendys, takeway shop, dominos, ali baba, and the cafe that has the.......
PIE WARMER. i raced through with my eyes looking towards the ground until i reached the news agent. passed my money to the girl behind the counter which is full of lollies, chips and cakes (why cant they just sell papers!!!). well why i was there slipped into woolies and bought the good stuff, fruit and vegetables nothing else. again with the lollies and chips at the checkouts. i sat in the mall to catch my breath and realise i have to do it all again just to get out of this place. so i sucked in a deep breath and oh the gut as well as i headed out of the mall carrying my 2 bags of goodness all the way back home.

all this torment for a bloody paper. might think in getting the bloody thing home delivered. "oh well the torture is for a good cause ME and the MM :D

I went for a 2.7 km run- I ran the first 600m & walked the rest (forgot to fully stretch calf muscles, as I had shin splints late in the footy season).
To celebrate when I got home, I hade Wedges with bacon & cheese on top...
Oh well, will be having oysters & steak for tea (after a game of Squash)

Played Squash for an hour- that got the heart going.
Now relaxing at home, just polished off a dozen oysters kilpatrick (Punks Sauce mix a 1/3 each of: Worcestishire, Tomato & BBQ sauce), under the gorilla for 5, topped off with some freshly squeezed lemons!
