How can you bat first
Bracken would be in the top 3 o/d bowlers in the world in those conditions.
Bollinger a good meduim fast bowler was unplayable at times.
Tim Paine a star opening batsman made 1 of about 11 balls.
In the first 2 overs he could not get bat to ball to about 7 deliveries.
Even Henriques[Pete Sampras look alike] looked menacing at his 125kms.

Jaques 75 0f 57 balls[man of the match] was awesome equalling Langers
belligerent 50 of 31 balls on Friday putting more pressure on the veteran opener.
His battle with future test player Hilfenhaus was absorbing.
Hilfenhaus reminds me of the 60/70s fast bowler Garth Mckenzie.
Hilfenhaus like Mckenzie is all shoulder, he bowls at 140+ and has a dangerous bouncer.
By the time NSW batted the track was much easier to bat on as I saw it, if you
think I know F..k all about cricket, well Alan Border re-iterated my comment on fox sports.
Haddin 42[43] is probably the 2nd best batting keeper in the world[as good as
Boucher + Sangakarra] hits the ball so sweetly, fantastic talent.

Macgill did not play broken nose on Saturday at practice

Don't underestimate Henriques. He will be a star.

I don't disagree with you on Bracken. In fact i want to know who would be the 2 guys you think would be better than him in those conditions?

Haddin is a great cricketer but not in Sangakara's class. Boucher maybe so i think we agree on this too.

Henriques, well we will have to agree to disagree here. He will be a hell of a lot closer to being the next Keith Miller than Watson ever will be

As for a broken nose stopping you playing, well i've personally played with broken fingers and i know of many wicket keepers who have done so as well. I'd suspect that would be more of a problem than a broken nose. Having said that i am not aware of all the details and he well may be suffering a concussion or some other complication so i shouldn't judge.

All in all only Henriques we disagree on after all that

As for Marsh batting first, well the result tells the story i think. I've always worked on the theory that you win the toss and bat first. If you're not sure think about it then bat first. In this case throw my theory out the window

As for Henriques we obviously won't agree but each to their own. Anyway he's every chance of having a career record closer to Miller as Watson would have to stop breaking down and unfortunately for him that appears to be the only thing he is good at.
