Cricket sure is a funny game.

Ask Mitch STARc, after being the hero for the Capitalsd a couple of night ago, this game he was the villan

Capitals scoring 8/203 only to have the Titans hiot back with 3/204

Mitch taken to the cleaners by Joss Butler who scored 97* (54) and taking 0/49 off 3.2 Of note Butler hit 7 consecutive balls from Starc to the boundary

Capitals finally got fed up with JFM and he was dropped

and let alone the 14yo who opened the batting in his first IPL game and smashed the first ball over cover for 6 and into the stands

Nothing exciting out of last nights 2 games as far as aussies go

Stoinis failed getting 1 Inglis 29 (17) did ok

Both games dominated by the old men, Kholi and Rohit who scored 73* (54) and 76* (45) both to win MOM honors in their respective matches

Unconfirmed reports that Pat Cummins has quit as captain of his side and coming back to Australia and Maxwell getting slammed by the Indian media about just being there for a party and taking the money

After another masterclass from Virat Kohli 70 (42) and a quick fire 23 (15) from Tim David meant that RCB set the Royals an imposing total of 206

Royals not up to the task, needed 18 off the last 2 overs however brilliant at the death bowling by Josh Hazelwood made sure that RCB got the biscuits

Early spell from Hazelwood putting them on the back foot and earning him the POTM with bowling figures of 4/33 (4)

Of note Jofra Archer seems to be back fully fit and was bowling at 150kph last night with some serious heat (not that it worried Virat)

Only 2 australians featured in last nights game with Cummins and Head playing for the Sunrisers against Chennai.

A pretty uninspiring match with Chennai making 154

Cumming superb with the ball taking 2/21 off his 4.

Sunrisers replied with 5/155

Head scored 19 (16) but is way out of form, he needs to stop trying to hit everyball for 4 or 6, shot he played to get out on last night is something a number 11 from parklands cricket plays, head in the air to a good length ball pitchd on middle, huge swing, missed the ball by the length of grand junction road and had his castle knocked over.

Of note two Chennai batters failed the bat test last night with their bats not fitting through the measuring device

Rain washed out the match between the Kings and Knight Riders.

However not before Glenn Maxwell continued his nighmare batting form, out for 7 (8)

Inglis scoring 11* (6)

Two games last night

Mumbai vs LSG

Only Mitch Marsh in this one for LSG scoring 34 (24) however Mumbai won very easily

2nd game was the bowl off between STARc (Delhi) and Hazeltwig (RCB)

Dehli batted first, Hazeltwig (he has lost so much weight) taking 2/36 off 4

RCB batted, Kohli took STARc apart 0/31 off 3,

Tim David came in the end to bolster the run rate scoring 19* off of 5

RCB win in a canter

Move over Virat, theres a new King in town

14 yr old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has smashed the 2nd fastest T20 IPL 100 (35 balls) with an incredible 101 off of 38 balls

Out in the 11th over, some of the cleanest big hitting i have seen
