We had our chances but just couldn't convert our inside 50s and you made us pay down the other end. A tough way to lose but that's footy. Good luck in your endeavors to get back into div 5 in the coming years.

Elizabeth who were behind all day, kept themselves within striking distance and when it counted the boys lifted, led by Warhorse Peter Furber, Skipper Caffer and Justin Platten.
Its all a bit hazy now but ball was pushed forward and sent into the hotspot where Ben Clark marked facing away from the flight.
Nervously the strong EFC contingent watched him slot it through for his 99th goal of the season! Siren blows soon after.
Broke a 12 year premiership drought at EFC and what a sweet win it was!

Turning point was when the Pulteney player got red carded. Stupid thing to do as they were in control of the game and then had to play ten minutes with 17 players which let Elizabeth back in. Credit to to the Eagles who kept at and didn't give in all day.
