Scott, perhaps you could tell us how Brad Snell is going as coach? Obviously a bit of a surprise to see the supercoach replaced with someone so young, but the results are looking good so far. What is his coaching demeanour like?

this isnt just a go at jimmy but does everyone on here think the flag is a 2horse race? pffft fair dinkum weve played 2 rounds CLG and brahma yes are 2 and 0 with huge % but they've both played glenunga (with all due respect) what about lockleys? 2 and 0 beaten 2 sides that most would've had in the top5 at the end of the year i honestly believe that there are 7teams that can win it yes CLG and brahma would be fav's CLG maybe 25/10 (noot a great finals record) and brahma 3/1 but to right off the other 4 or sides is just a joke after round2.

Formerly of Rosewater??

i think he did...solid mofo with dark hair

In my first year of senior footy (95) I was playing C grade against Rossies and they had this solid unit called double day, he was a bouncer at joplins at the time. Anyway, he was carrying on like a knob so one of our blokes dropped him with the best right hook you'll ever see. When he came too he chased our bloke all over the ground. Piss funny! He would be getting on these days though.

I think he only played the one season, I used to work with him, called him herpes because he had a hairpiece on his head!! Wasn't hard to get him going! Also played at Lockleys I believe.

No, I think Hectorville's 19 point loss to the Lodge at the Lodge earns them a fair bit of respect, it's a hard ground to play on. Lockleys, Trinity, West Croydon and yourselves would also have to be given some credit too, finals are a different game, whatever teams make it I think would be in with a chance.

definately not a two horse race in our opinion, i rate us a good chance to make the finals but finals are another story, in my opinion bl are faves, two wins one a flogging away and the other a win at home over a strong and close to full strength hectoville, hectoville are a very good side and would rate them and lockleys who beat us convincingly last year as second faves and then clg, paralowie one the next line of betting

How did Browny go at the tribunal? and also has anything else happened on the MP player or will the 2 match suspension stand?

On the SAAFL website on the Category of offences procedure it clearly states that

"A reported player must attend the tribunal before playing again"

Regardless of which player from which ever team commits an offence I thought they had to go to the tribunal, can anyone let me know if this procedure still exists??

good to see footy chick have her dig at clgfc and player payments again in her weekly rant, should get her facts correct before she blabs her mouth off about cars etc....also she should note people dont care about hope valley and not write about them every week

Technically she can write about whatever she wants mate, weather it be fiction or not, and just because you dont care about hope valley doesnt mean anyone else doesn't. I find it very good that she is passionate about her club because i cant name many other women who are :?

I wasn't talking about CLG, in fact they hadn't even crossed my mind...but if you're going to get so defensive about it perhaps there's something more in it Scottroo :?

I didn't make any mention of HOpe Valley in my coloumn this week, except to say that Brendan Moon had left them. Not sure what you're on about there

**edit** Mypaddock, what ever I do or used to do on here has no association with whatever I write in the budget...two completely different hats. Live with it. :?
