Rexy's ties with Norwood and their subsequent interest means the opportunity exists. However, Liam is also a talented basketballer and has a short window to break into the American scene and I believe the young lad is very keen to focus on that endeavour for the time being.
If that is the case, why on earth would he put that in possible jeopardy just to have a game of footy? Bad injury = no future in basketball, hard to fathom that out!

What are other people's thoughts? Do you think they'll stay at the bottom of the ladder?

hahaha think theyd be doing alright if they had a full-forward with 10 shots on goal per week

I'm a bit biased but from what I've seen in the last 3-4 weeks they are playing better than any C grade team I've seen at Henley in the last 15 years and should win at least 4-5 of their last 10 games - maybe more. Div 6 is a solid comp now, far better than D7 and the boys have been matching it with some pretty good sides.
If they can keep the same group of players togther for the rest of the year they should finish well clear of relegation and have a fair influence on the final 5.
Ruckman for much of last year was Ev Bennetts I reckon - has played the last 2 games in D1.

You can add Central United to that too imo Zed. CU are traditionally slow starters and were jumped by a strong Trinity side at Trinity in Round 1. The Henley loss was an aberation, but nevertheless did happen.
When these 3 have met eachother, the home team has won on each occasion.

They may have played each other in a trial game, unsure about that one though.
