-No experiance nesessary (as you can learn from the others).
-Must be slow (at least 50 metres behind play).
-Being blind is an advantage but not important as you can always look the other way.
-You do NOT need a whistle (they are very rarely used in RMFL) unless you want to be noticed by giving stupid free kicks.
-Being bias is paramount so pick a team to support and umpire that game.

I also noticed Karpany playing Reserves on Saturday, presumably thats how they dealt with their points issue.

Maybe they are recruiting the better juniors from other places, to get under the points allocation & be able to play all of the recruits, as I find it hard to believe that there would be 5 in their current U/17's side who should/deserve an A grade spot

Yep, and I know Michael Fiegert was asked to play ressies 2 weeks back and he told them to shove it. Wouldnt be surprised if he comes back to Ramblers so atleast if he's playing b's it will be with his mates

I believe Michael Fiegert is out for a big part of the season due to injury.

Fiegert is in Tailems best 21, and has spent most of the pre-season and regular season dealing with injury. Ramblers, his mates, I'm pretty sure they gave him heaps when he played against them, great mates there! And he wouldn't tell anyone to shove it, he's got a lot more class than that BB. Get it right. The reason Fiegert ended up at Tailem Bend is because he was a fringe player at Ramblers looking for an opportunity to play A grade and Tailem Bend rated how he goes about it, if you see anything wrong with that please let me know.
Also, everyone seems to be an expert on what goes on at Tailem Bend all of a sudden. So called experts on this forum need to realise how a competitive Tailem Bend is the best thing for this competition, rather than bagging them for their management of the points scenario. I would think its more of an issue to look at the points system and realise that clubs like Tailem Bend have started a significant way back behind every club at the beginning of the 2011 RMFL Pre-Season, due to previous recruiting and inability to retain them, and therefore would benefit from some 'room to move' with their points, rather than having to exceed the allocation and look to juniors.
