Not quite.... after the loss to Blackwood he made all the players stand up the front in the clubrooms during the after match presentations for a minute to look at all the people they had let down. The players now also have to run twice as many sprints as the goals they lose by so after a 23 goal loss to Lofty they have to sprint 46 lengths of the cricket pitch!!!! Cant see Hibberd, Dray or Coad doing that!!

Kangarilla coach made his team do extra running after their loss to Kersbrook. Kersbrook players were inside singing the club song, and Stringer has players doing sprints after a 10 goal loss!

In hindsight, you could say it was headed for one of those days when Murphy and Kempster pulled out of the side and when Michael Thomas did his hamstring in the first 3 minutes of the game. It will sound like I'm making excuses I know but I know that truth be told, you've got to win those games regardless if you're hoping to play finals football.
Bond was certainly very smart across half back and he can still weight his kicks very well to the target, Daniel Jenner was very good even though I don't think he made their best players and Callington's disposal by foot was excellent and was probably the main difference between the two sides.
On a separate note, it was interesting to see both Kangarilla and Echunga both suffer heavy defeats after not having a competitive hitout the week before.

guys like sziller and king are fully behind the coach,as far as the minutes silence it wasnt actually a minutes silence but was after the ironbank game and it was to get the players to face up to the supporters after a poor effort.no walls punched on saturday but a large water container is in need of repair and yes it was one of the greatest sprays ever!shake'n'bake wrote:Surely a coach who is clearly a bit low on stocks needs a new approach. Not only is he going to force the older boys like sziller and king into retirement. he is going to lose his recruits and maybe even some of the local stock! Nash Stark has already gone walkabouts. They used to be a real force as a club, what has gone wrong?
