Couple of ideas.

Every team who comes up against Mallee Park should just receive an automatic home game. You wouldn't get as many MP supporters yelling out "f*ckn hit him!" for starters. No doubt when they play at home they think they can do what they want.

Or another option, have someone tape the entire game? It would certainly lower the bad behaviour which has been witnessed in the past, with players knowing they're being watched they might think twice about laying a boot in (speaking of boots being layed in this isn't the first time it's happened out there). The tribunal would then have no reason not to hand out heavier suspensions as they should have done in this case, that is providing conclusive footage is captured.

It is sickening though to hear Dudley only received 2 matches...who the hell is on the panel?

i hear ya shobtop1 but sorry to say, they bring it your ground anyway like last year, and Saturday's game would have needed a dozen camera's.

conclusive footage, ambo, night in hospital, games off - maybe he needed his jaw broken and flown to Adelaide for league to take seriously.

At least the Times did report on it. 5CC had nothing this morning in their local news and neither did TV last night. Much easier to bury your head in the sand

don't stress OL - 5CC and the TV will have something on it in the next few days they usually copy what the Times does.

I was speaking with a person I know who works with an organization that is involved with the community and the story differs a lot from the one all our boston supporters are posting on here.
Their side of the story is allegedly Hull was antagonising a under17 player and Harry came offer to defend his junior player. When Hull jumper punched Harry a couple of times Harry snapped and layed him out. Allegedly Hull had been quite "vocal" during the game. They did not know anything about Phillip's actions. They stated it was totally out of character for Harry.
I am only posting what I heard so before you have a go at me just realize that thankyou

Can I politely enquire how this changes anything? Hull is 16, no problems even if he was having a crack with another u/17. Jumper punching, happens most weeks in senior footy I'd say. He was vocal, oh my god, that must just send a player right over the egde.

Of course the person from the organisation would definitely be telling it as they saw it, being model citizens and all.

The clincher here folks, is the fact PD was on the wing or closer to Mallee's HBF at the start of the third term. He is a FF and is rarely seen out of the square during a game. This was premeditated designed to shake Harry's tag, conjured up in the change rooms at half time.

Daicos, as much as you are trying to prove otherwise, there was nothing the BFC did wrong, apart from the supporter that obviously would not have occured if a filthy sniper was not laying the boots in.

I am not trying to prove anything son. I am just relaying what I have heard as we have only heard one side of the story. If it was premediated I would have thought 2 weeks is very light.

Little known piece of AFL history here:

Barry Hall reported for striking Brent Staker, handed a seven match ban.

Ok, then just reply to me first paragraph then....

The whole football fraternity knows the penalty is light, I'd like to know what the cuss the tribunal was thinking when they handed down said penalties. Absolute brain dead morons who should be stripped of their duties

Something I just realised... we've had 9 pages of posts since the Footbrawl incident, and no-one's picked up that I got the tipping wrong, since Southies won by less than 40
