Maccy have now picked up Michael Foster from barker. Nairne will have 7 - 8 quality recuits running around to improve them this year and a lot of people would have forgotten that they have Luke Percy who will absoluyley carve them up in country division plus kersbrook will obviously be better because of Brett James. The guy was picking up thirty possessions a game last year for Norwood. I seriously doubt Dew and Francou will play. Francou surely would not risk doing his knee again playing in a country league and dew will be overseas most of the year plus how fat is he !! Meadows will be a stronger team than last year but I don't rate Tarque Williamson as a star recruit for $1000 sign on and $200 a game. You would only pay that to a gun player that can win you a game by their own performance not to a solid defender at best.
i think your right, country div keeps getting stronger and stronger, as does central, and to be honest i don't think the gap is as wide as some believe it to be.
i don't agree that kangarilla had no competition last year though, they were the stand out team but TV knocked off once, and had guys like carter, battams, coles and fox running around, plus meadows r a consistently strong team, and kersbrook i still think r the ones to watch. maccy may improve this year, and i hope for their sake they do, every year the rumors are that maccy will be awesome... and then they never seem to even make the finals.
i still maintain the top three country div teams of last year would've been well and truly in the midst of the finals for central div
