He has given good service for 4 seasons I agree a good pick up will fit in well with Porties structure.
Couldnt agree more. Unfortunately when you sign something they can hold you to it. I beleive if someone doesnt want to play for you let them go regardless. One person imparticular will make things difficult.![]()

Surely if he has committed to Myponga through a contract he has to see it through doesn't he? Unless there are some issues that everyone does not know about and they would want to be good reasons. Whatever happened to a man's word or the good old fashioned handshake, that all went out the window, so they brought in written contracts and now that means nothing. If you say something do it!

You say this but last year when Myponga signed there players for 2008 they did it before the end of 2007 season. (Thats one point to Myponga)
However they did it with Deacs and gave a "fairly strong impression" that he would carry on for a third year. (thats one point off to Myponga)!
but your right if you sign you committ its a tough one!

LuvsFooty wrote:Specky I believe a similar thing happened with us and Troy Bond when he wanted to break his contract at the Saints. He had 2 options. Play or sit out the year. I think some money was exchanged and he was released from his contract. I dont think guys understand that the footy contracts they sign are actually official legal documents.

Sure are Hills, Wezza owed - $30 so the players all chipped in and we got it paid.

Besides, there isnt anything wrong with a bloke asking for a few extra bucks after winning your B&F.

Fairly sure (not positive, tho) he plays for the Saints in footy, and should be seen around basketball and cricket.
