They did go missing in the toilets for a while ;)

I think you will find I wasn't the one in there for "a while". I cleared out when WYC boys followed me in. What the WYC boys perform in the toilets is none of my business, besides all the possible witnesses are severely lacking in credibility.

Few blokes chipped in with 30's with the bat but not sure of their names.. Simon Kreig from Keswick took 3/8 off 8 overs with 5 wides. Elbourn from Morphies took 2/30. Willson and Quirke got 1 each. Had them 7 down but tight bowling stopped them from getting close.

Hope you blokes have street directories that go further south than Hackham Oval.
You may be needing one next season. ;)

Talking to one of the guys from Porties they were thinking about it last year. With the comp the way it is this year with basically a 5 team A grade I don't think it's far off. Question will be which comp will the teams go to, ASCA, great southern, hills or somewhere else? Having North Haven in the comp might put off some of them, especially seaford and the noarlunga sides.

Could make our last 2 rounds more interesting than they already are if sides come in looking for a section 1 spot next year. Say 2 of the sides come in + a promotion from section 2 (Nth Haven still undefeated) then the battle for 10th all of sudden becomes very interesting.

Doubt two sides would make it from SCA to be honest. ALthough i wouldnt be suprised too see one of them come into the comp, NH come up, with Westminster folding and bottom side going down.

Hopefully we pick up all 5 of the sides, a couple in section 2, which will create a better section 2 and a better fight for sides to be promoted to section 1

It's all hearsay at the moment but fair to say that if Noarlunga get accepted into GSCA, which they have voted to explore the option, then the SCA would have to cease senior competition.
Port will stay in the SCA unless it disbands, but the favoured option if they need to find another comp is the A&SCA but still needs to be voted on.
Not sure you'd get Seaford or Flaggies and I'd say Kangarilla will find a hills comp, but as I say it's all hearsay at the moment.

We made 140 odd and they passed in none down. I think our guys dropped both openers before they reached 10.

As some of you may know Sheidow Park is holding it's bi-annual Legends Vs Young Guns game this Sunday.
The club has registered to be part of the Pink Stumps day for the McGrath Foundation and both teams will be going Pink for a great cause. It will also be ladies day at the event. The girls can pay $50 for all the pink champagne, beer and food you can consume for the day. There will be plenty of fun events going on throughout the day with our club trying to raise money for breast cancer research. Everyone has known someone that has been diagnosed with breast cancer and our club is no exception. We invite anyone and everyone from all clubs to take part in this great cause. Bring your wives, children, sisters, mothers, anyone you know for a great day out.
The event will start at 12pm at Sheidow Park Primary School, We hope to see you all there!
Remember ladies wear pink!

Pay $50 for free stuff? No thanks, I'll just have it for free. ;)
